hey, seeking some ladies advice.

ok- so i went to school today (friday) with the intention of asking this girl if she wanted to do something this weekend... shes in my gym class but today she wasnt here. we just met in september, and we dont really know each other apart from the occasional conversation. i didnt really feel like waiting til monday, then the weekend is over and i have to wait.

so i called her when i got home from school... turns out she was sick today. anyways i told her i liked her and asked her if she wanted to hang out, maybe go ice skating at the rink with me.

she said she had a lot of homework and a couple other plans and couldnt but maybe some other time.

that answer seems like an excuse to saying no to me. but she didnt sound like she was lying... keep in mind this would be the first time a guy has expressed feelings for her according to her and my friend megan.

and what do i do now? call her, talk in gym? and when? GAAAH

I'm divorced and raised my children w/o any help from my ex husband. They're now grown and are really good kids and cause no problems. I solely support myself, do not have financial debts and am easy to get along with. People say I'm pretty and I have a sense of humor yet men that I meet want just sex and not to get to know the real me. I don't sleep around and just want to find someone that wants to be with me because they like me for who I am. I feel that I am so disgusting to people and that depresses me. I don't think I'll ever meet that someone special.

My boyfriend of almost 3 months is very busy. A week and a half ago i asked him if he really wanted to be with me. A day after I asked him that he told me that he was going to take some time and think or reevaluate. The next sunday we finally talked, he told me he had not done much thinking. Tuesday we went to dinner and we kissed. I have talked to him since. I am trying to give him his space, but I just can't imagine that this is going to end well. But I also can't understand why he is taking soo long. If he really doesn't want to be with me then just say it. The biggest problem is that he has soo little time. But I think we could make it work. I just don't know why he's putting me through all this if in the end he's just going to leave me heartbroken. Again, I can't help to think that he just doesn't want to end it. Any help??? Thanks

I have feelings for this girl... We've known each other for several years. She is on and off again with this other guy for the past 2 years. During the off times we do stuff and have a good time together. When I ask her where things are at with this relationship with this other guy, she just says it is "complicated" and nothing further. He treats her terrible and her parents even told him that he doesn't deserve their daughter. Now I hear that she is going on a weekend getaway with him, but when I ask her what she is doing this weekend she just says she is going away with some friends. She doesn't even tell me that she is doing stuff with him! Is she just trying not to hurt me or what's the deal? I'm open to anyone's comments/advice on the situation...

Guy at work that Im attracted to for last couple of months has been giving me stares, glances etc. Lets just say his body language has been speaking volumes, at times more obvious than not. I have reciprocated back. He finally got up the nerve to talk to me a couple of weeks ago. I got up the nerve to ask him to lunch via email. Well, misunderstanding occurred out of this. I dropped the idea and didnt pursue further, thinking I would give him time. Ran into him and joked about situation at hand, to try and make him feel at ease. It was no big deal, just a misunderstanding and I assumed when I shouldnt have. I thought we were ok after this. Then havent seen him for a couple of weeks, but when I do see him now he is cool to me, not very talkative. On chance times that I see him around, I still see him looking at me. Not sure what he thinks of me now, or whats going on with him. I know there is a mutual attraction between us, but just not sure how much with him now.

My bud and I have a true "brokeback moutain" relationship. Its very special and we have a strong bond. We both have two different backgrounds. I'm like Jack and he Ennis emotionally. He's an asipring artist, and I am into business. Were in our 20's and he chose to move to Europe. He asked me if I want to go, I said sure I want to be close to him, but things changed when I got accepted for a masters program at a business school in the US. I decided to stay and finish up. Now I feel like 2 years of school seems to be a long time, I hurt everynight thinking about losing him. It was a choice of my future or the "rare, weird" feelings we both have for each other.
