Ignoring him sometimes helps because he wont get tired of you and annoyed and it also allows him to think about you and try to understand who you really are, because guys don't always want a girl around and you need to respect that he needs some guy to guy time with is friends not an annoying girlfriend all the time. and it helps you to manage on your own you don't always need a guy to make you have fun and feel important and special that makes you stronger because you can do without talking to him and not feel like you'll die if you don't hear his voice think about it bye.

Sure, why not? If you have your own life outside of the guy, live it as much as you want. In fact, a lot of guys are attracted to girls who act like they don't place importance on dating. They see it as more of a challenge.
