Singles & Dating - 14 October 2006

My Mom and Dad don't approve of my boyfriend. And the only reason why is because he is 12 and in the 6th grade and im 13 and in the 8th grade. They want me to dump him but I love him to much I don't know what to do. Should I tell them that I did dump him but I really didn't? or should I just ignored anything that they say about him? or what? Please Help me!

Yeah im in a relationship, the guy im with is really great! Very family orentated and goes to church. He Is recovering from a terrible past relationship. And anyway, to the point here. I care about him so much. But I feel like I am always the one who has to inniteate a conversation and things like that. Our relationship is not a commited one yet like I said he is still not ready. What I want to know is, is it possible im just a rebound girl and he is just taking advantage of me? Or does he really care about me and want to wait untill he is ready? Im so confused, and when I say things like I miss you he wont respond with an I miss you too. Am I wrong for getting ticked off at him?

ok well..tell me if he was playing hard to get or something..
he was sitting in front of me but a little to the right..
and he would never want me to like..look at his face..only last time when i saw his face for like 1 milisecond and then he turned away really quick..

and today he would never turn his head not even like..a little bit....only to his right....

and he was like acting like..poking these other girls that were in front of him..[i think they were his cousins]

and he kept like..pulling there hair and bothering them..even after his mom like..got mad at him for doing that..

and when it was time to go.. i was wating against the wall for my dad and he was leaving..and he walked right past me but the whole way he was walking past me he turned his head to the other side to the window on his right..[i was on his left when he was walking]
but he went right past me and was completely looking at the windows reflection fixing his hair the whole time he went past me..

so my friend likes me, i'm pretty certain, but i don't like him and i know pretty much what i want to say to let him down gently. But how do you bring that sort of thing up? ok here goes a long story summarized shorter...this guy ive been seeing for about 5 years on and off again...well he has a lot of medical problems and when i dont have my kids i always have to go to his house.. he never cleans and i do it for him or else it would never get done,,,but we never hardly go any where here it is only 7:49pm on a saturday.. i baked brownies for him and his kid.went with them to lookat halloween decorations and the tok them home because he was tired he never sleeps buti cant take this anymore..he dont want me to go out ..buut its saturday night and my kids are with there dad and im home alone..my sister wants me to go out and have a few drinks with her but im afraid it will make him mad..what would you do??

I work in a small office - only about 12 people. I am in a management position and he works in a different department. My company does not have a policy against it. We don't have to interact at work on a regular basis. Several of my friends in the office think he is really into me and wants to ask me out. However, he is quite a bit younger than me (9 years younger) and we have completely different lives - I have a young child. I don't get out often and so I don't meet guys that I find interesting and fun. Would it really be a terrible idea?

Its nothing really serious but i need suggestions.I have been a voluptuous gal like all my life and my boyfriend really likes it but of late i have lost quite a lot of weight,not through dieting or exercise or illness but i just dont have any appetite and thats why.I have always wished to be a bit slender and am totally excited as everyone is complimenting me on my looks...everyone except my boo who is annoyed that i have lost weight and is literally feeding me to regain my weight saying if i dont regain he will leave me.I know he wont leave but what you think i shd do?

im alittle discouraged in this relationship (if i should even call it one). I've been dating this gut for about 3 months, in the beginning it was fun, we hungout a lot, went to lunch all that. He told me he would have a lot on his plate before all this, and told me it wouldnt be a problem. Now, i bearly see him and we never go out, with all the things he has going on( school, work, his business). i love and respect that he is so ambitous, but i feel he doesnt have time for me. I feel that if he really liked me he would make the time.

So last week i went to talk to him about it and he actually brought up first, he apoligized and said it would get better, and explained how he was a "complex" person. So, a week has gone by and no change. Should i move on? and find someone who has the time? Or should i give his a ultimatum? Is it so wrong to think that i deserve better?
