It means whatever YOU decide you want it to mean. You are the one who gets to make the rules when it comes to giving out 'benifits'. If you are happy with the situation then go for it. If you want more from a boyfriend then tell him and be firm about it.

why did u break up if u want to be friends with benifits your BF and GF me and my girlfriend broke up twice but we were confused know were together and we understand eachother when we werent BF and GF and had broken up we didnt talk to eachother we werent even friends because we didnt want to face eachother.but when we werent even together i mean never been BF and GF we were friends no benifits were not like that even were 14 were not those kind even were together we dont have any affairs the most we do is kmake out so were cool.but just say to him u want to be friends yes or not if he says no dontbe friends or anything.
