we were playing tennis today (we were current sitting at the side)
i noticed that a girl was cold, so i offered her my sweatshirt
i knew that i would be cold after , evan though i still did
i noticed that no-one else offered her..

*she was jus a friend*

do typical guys do this ?
or are they more selfish ?

Why do guys like to date a girl and try to hit it and quit it??Theres this one guy that goes to my school hes a year older than me and he is trying to hook up wit me but everyone tells me not to cuz hes the type that will hit it and quit it......why are most guys like that I cant find a guy who is decent and sincere!!........

Hi there at the risk of using more points, I need to know how to play hard to get. I know this is the secret to getting this guy, as he loves the chase, I do like him. We talk on the phone for hours and text, but rarely see each other at the moment. Long story. See other question. However, I don't want to be needy, everyone says play hard to get but how do I do this when we only talk onphone or text occasionally? Some good ideas please, he's just sent text to say he's ringing tomoroow night, I've just got back off two week holiday.

I dated a guy for about 2 yrs and was physically abused for about 18 months. Its been about 6 mo now since we broke up. I haven't seen him in 4 mo becuase he moved to his Dad's house in AL (long story). After we broke up we still talked on the phone like usual and had sex til he moved. Its been 4 months since I last spoke to him, I finally said **** it and over 2 days I had 326 missed calls from him. That was the last time he tried to contact me. I went thru a time when I hated him and didn't even want to think of him existing. But recently he has been the only thing on my mind. It's true some of the time I went through hell with him, but other days were best experiences of my life. I want to call him and just see what he's up to, if his transition went smoothly. What should I do? Can abusive guys change for the better? Im not trying to get back with him, just be friends unless he seriously changes. I know he still thinks about me cuz his AIM password is still my name+anniversary date.

I know she loves me. She has told me so many times how much she cares for me and even told me she loves me, which was a big deal. Every time we're together, things are great with us, we have fun and still flirt like school kids sometimes after dating now for several months. But she is a busy woman, very outgoing and proud to be as independant as she is, so she always has something going on. I feel selfish, but I want more of her but know I can't ask for what she can't give. Anyone have a similar situation? Any advice? I think I need to keep myself occupied.

The thing is I get freaked out when a stranger talks to me and I end up saying hello then asking a million questions about the person. So when a stranger or strangers want to talk to me what should I say? I'm afraid to tell there other person(s) anything about me b/c of all the news on tv about internet preditors. My mom just went through a lot of old junk that I'd been keeping around her house and among the discoveries were a few old drawings my ex-boyfriend had done and given to my while we were together. I know he'd love to have the originals back because I know he's still proud of his artwork (I recently stumbled upon an online journal of his and he has scanned copies of the art displayed)... but I really don't want to have anything to do with him anymore. He was.... let's just say "very mean". I'm glad I got away and I was hoping never to see him again.

Now I'm torn... should I suck it up and contact him and be a good person even though he doesn't deserve it or should I spare myself the pain and just throw them away (he'll never know what he's missing anyway)?

I don't know what to do...... I'd appreciate any advice. Thanks.

ok this guy at school asked me if I would go out with this other guy I think is kinda cute and like a little. well I don't know if he was just joking around trying to be stupid and to see if I liked him or if the other guy really does like me. We have not gotten together yet but we flirt all the time and truly care for each other he went to college about 2 hours away from me but will be back for winter break, we worked together as baggers at a grocery store. we always make each other laugh.he's 18 I'm 24. yes I am 24 but I have not had most of the experiences people my age had high school was hard on me making friends because everyone was so superfical now things are different but my personality fits better with 16-19 year olds I'm real silly and Tom loves to hear my crazy stories and I want to have a relationship with him.he's never had a g/f b-4 and he's not interested in girls at college more than friends. we haven't had a problem with just communicating on the comp and I know he's loyal so how do we make a full transistion to being together.it's kinda like we are but we don't say it. ok...there is this boy...lets call him Jeff. So Jeff is a jokster but he is kind. He is 1 year older. He is best friends with your older sister and has a crush on you. So he asks you out over passing notes. You shrug and are unsure...At gym, he attempts again but through friends. Your friend runs and tells him, yes I do. I was unsure and nervous because i didnt get to make up my mind. so he says no because he thinks my friends convinced me! But I never got a word in. Then everyone comes over and starts laughing and say it is a joke. It could of worked out nosy people got in the middle of it and messed it up completely...now i am the laughing stock of the whole school what can i do???
