Okay so here's the deal: I'm not much of a drinker, it's never really appealed to me, so I never did it in high school. Now I'm in university and it's pretty much the norm. Last weekend I tried drinking with my friends, and it didn't go well, lol. Alcohol makes my head and stomach hurt, everything spins, and I get reallllly tired. I'm extremely shy, and I didn't find that it helped me "loosen up" any like people said it would. Is this normal?? I'm 19, and I'm in my first year of university. I know most people have been trashed by this point in their life, but I haven't... so please don't be mean! (Drinking age is 18 here in Montreal, by the way). We're all going out again tonight. If I don't want to drink alcohol, is it okay just to ask a bartender for water or something?
N.B. I only posted in the Singles and Dating section because I have a feeling more people read this than any other category.

My friend tried to kill himself. He's in the hospital. Just found out now. I want to go see him but under circumstances can't. ( he and I are in culinary school) In school everyone was whispering and all that crap. then I heard one of our school mate talking to another about him ( sucide friend ) She was saying that he is selfish, and was a cry for help or something like that. How can they say that. He's depressed and he almost died and all they can talk about was that he is a psycho and that I should stay away from him for he can hurt me. I bf and and i have been together almost 4 years and we like to go out and have a good time going to clubs and partys and sometimes the drinks get the best of us and we forget to use protection i really did not see this as a big deal because nothing has ever happened before but my period is late was supposed to have been last week of september and it is still not here. I feel fine but should i take a test? My bf says pregnant girls can not drink and we go out alot. Should i test any ay to make sure we had sex unprotected sept. 14 about and i think you ovlute 7 days after your period is this right?am i safe i would have ovulated the 7 then i think?

Tom's 18( we worked 2gether 4 a couple of months as baggers at a grocery store, he knows I like him, he's never had a g/f before. he went away 2 college 2 hours away but will be back 4 winter break.he said we'd see each other.here's parts of our convo, do you think he likes me, and why do you think that?

I am friends with this man for about 11 months now. We are close but I am confused about his feelings. He cares about me and says he loves me but he says that he has a committ issue bec of his past marriage. He is divorced. he asked me out and this is what confuses me he said that he doesn't want to marry again bec of his past marriage. I never asked him about being married to him he brought it up. So a week went by an dI recieved an email for an invite to Rome, Italy from him and some of his friends in Nov. And then a few days later he send me this God's prayer chain letter.
