I don't think you are wrong at all. When people in general use profanity as a regular part of their vocabulary, it makes them seem ignorant and trashy. I completely agree with you!

I think that you should be looking for some"perfectly" proper little miss prissy then, cause any girl who likes sports or has her own mind, is sure to use profane language every once in awhile. Hell, I cuss more than a sailor, and the men aren't walking away from me!

Look if it turns you off, it turns you off thats your perogative. The question is do you think it is alright for men to swear, if you do, that would be very hypocritical. I am a 5 ft 9 inch woman who is attractive but not dainty and you know i don't want to be dainty, if i get mad i do swear (usually at the right time and in the right place) and anyone who knows me knows that I am a passionate person who feels things and feels for people very intensely. Should it matter that I am a woman swearing? Is it any more right for a man to swear?

I completely agree with you, but it is wrong for everyone to use profanity. I makes them appear illiterate, no education, unworthy of friendship, unfortunately the sign of the times is let er rip and to heck with any ones ears

I tend to agree (but I may be from a different generation) but I find that either sex that uses profanity is a turn off.
It shows better manners and education to refrain from such.
*Oh doodlebugs!*

I constantly hang out with sailors so I have a sailors mouth. I swear up a storm sometimes. I've never met a guy that was offended by it though. I had guy friends that would kick you out if you were a girl and burped. Understandable, but I don't quite get the swearing bit.

If you mean it turns you off there's nothing wrong with that. Ladies aren't supposed to be vulgar.

I agree with you, however, I use it all the time. I'm in the construction business and that's all I hear. =(
