I was unsure and nervous because i didnt get to make up my mind. so he says no because he thinks my friends convinced me! But I never got a word in. Then everyone comes over and starts laughing and say it is a joke. It could of worked out nosy people got in the middle of it and messed it up completely...now i am the laughing stock of the whole school what can i do???

People will forget really quickly if you don't make a big deal out of it. Just act like everything's normal, and they'll move on to better gossip soon. As for the guy, he'll ask you out again if he really likes you.

I would tell them the truth and if they still pick on you them I wouldjust not worry about it. I know it's easier said than done because I'm in school and I know. The more you act like it bothers you the more they will do it so just smile at them and try to make a big joke out of the situation. To do this you have to have a lot of guts to stand up to them but do it it'll make things easier. GOOD LUCK.. I hope you take my advice seriously it does work 98% of the time.

You are not the laughing stock of the whole school, some kids were out sick today and dont know anything about it yet. In the future talk yourself and not by way of carrier friend (get it like carrier pigeon).

You can talk to him personally and clear things up. You know that he likes you. Thats the hard part and its over. So talk to him. So many people here are asking questions about how to get safely find out if someone likes them without risking anything. Its like asking how do I get rich without doing anything. You could win the lottery, but I wouldn't count on it. Same with relationships. You gotta give to get. Sometimes it means putting your feelings on the line.

Right now,It's like an all-or-nothing deal.Go to his house, call him, something, get in contact.Tell him what you like about him,but you want to take it slow.Since all that happend you want to make it clear you are interested, but need something more to go off of and want to spend a little personal time with him.Doing this yourself is the only way.See what he says, that shouldn't turn him away, what happend that is,but forget that and them and focus on you 2.Seems to me like you are more interested than you may think and should most certainly go out on a few dates with him. He'll probably understand,if not, then he just wanted sex and that's probably not all you wanted,So in that case,Drop him.

First you should talk to his friends, tell them that it wasnt funny and u meant it but say it calmly. Next talk to "Jeff". Tell him that you really meant it and his friends didnt convince you. If he loved you he would trust you.

immaturity shows in how some treat others.
learn from this. You were unsure because your body said ...
"um, NOPE!" but your mind said ...."OK" ANYBODY that don't have guts to ask directly ain't worth the trouble.

this reminds me of 6th grade. hah. what you do is get him back because it most likely was a joke and you just didnt realize it...yet. so now you just get back at him by goingoutwith/screwing/hooking up with his best friend. Thats about it
