I'm a generally nice guy, though a bit condescending at times. I don't consider myself shy because I don't have any type of social fear or anxiety, but I am introverted and calm. So many times, very shy girls just open up to me, without any real effort on my part. I don't know what it is about me that makes them want to tell me all their deepest thoughts and problems. This is problematic sometimes because I'm not always attracted to them and don't know how to let them down gently (I've caused tears on more than one occasion), or because they don't really have good communication skills. On the other hand, I've had a couple girls blossom for me, so I guess it balances out. But I would like to know why these painfully shy girls seem to gravitate towards me.

Ok, I have been invited to be a guest on a talk show about relationships. I am supposed to go on there and talk about my current relationship with my "commitment-phobe boyfriend," I am leaving for LA in the morning and have not told my boyfriend yet. A guy at work just asked ' How i would feel seeing someone older'. By that he meant himself. He is about 15 years older than me and sorta creepy. He uses every opportunity to come talk to me, and when he does he cant even look in my eyes. They are elsewhere. I dont want to be rude, but what do you say to make this behaviour stop!

I live in a big city and it seems like most people here are pretty casual about random one night stands. I, on the other hand, am not. currently my fiance is playing the pro tour...for tennis...so he won his matches and he called me tonight...drunk. I know that he is a grown man and all but is that accectable...would it have been better if he had not called at all....is that a sign of disrespect? So, my boyfriend broke up with me; I moved into my own apartment; I changed jobs (because we worked together). But I am having problems with the my complete alone time.
