Personally, I think sex without emotion is just stupid. I think it is those who are not confident about finding love like to have one night stands....it is like a vacation for them, but they later have to get back t reality, and then they look for MORE ONS..

If you are after a boyfriend, don't give it up on the first night so they can turn it into a one night stand.
Giving it up on the first night sends a pretty clear message to the guy that you are easy and chances are he will attribute this to the fact that you also only want a one night stand.

I am not on anyone's side. I am non-judgmental, so if someone is very casual about sex and likes one-night stands, that's great. on the other hand, if for you sex is all about relationships and feelings, good for you. I had several one nights stand experiences, nothing outstanding about it. and it is risky. I think the older you get, the less you look for those.

I only had one one-night stands. It was something I did when I was younger. Now that I am older and wiser, I prefer to date someone at least a few months before taking her to bed. This is not to say that I am not a fan of sex. I am actually a bigger fan of sex than the next man. I prefer to get to know someone inside and out before I sleep with her.

Your concept of being with boyfriends and so on is a bit outdated, I mean not outdated, but what I'm trying to say is that you should boraden your horizons and in this case it's obvious, you should try some one night stands, see how it goes and who knows, maybe you'll be fond of them, maybe you'll find a nice boyfriend, nobody knows what the future brings.

I don't do that (I'm married).
However, I have a 27-yr-old niece who had a one-night stand and ended up getting chlamydia !!! Yep....it only takes one awful, stupid decision to end up with something that could haunt you the rest of your life.
She contracted chlamydia almost 7 years ago, and has had recurring UTIs and PID problems ever since. (Less than a week after she contracted chlamydia, she got medical attention.) .....Every doctor she's seen over the past 7 years has told her that her getting chlamydia could not only continue to give her such problems for life, but could eventually render her sterile.

Personally, I don't like one night stands, because I feel the person's touch all over me once they're gone. I feel even more alone than before it happened. So, yes, like you, I guess that I'm pretty much Old School on that one.

If you are both comfortable with the fact that it is a one night stand than go for it. If you are uncomfortable with one night stands then don't have one. I have sex as often as I can.

I can't do a one night stand, it's not right. I rather engage to friends with benefits.

Its not normal to be casual about one nighters with all the hoop la about STD's. Besides I feel it cheapens one self when engaged in that life style, look at yourself as someone who deserves better......
