It's a common complaint that women make that us, men simply arent explicitly outlining our true feelings. I'll admit sometimes I'm just hoping they'll somehow "figure it out".

guys have true feelings ? what? cuz we're not in tact with them as much.. dude think about it
in preschool... when a girl cries ALL the girls come around and say let it out whats wrong and throwing tissues at her
if a dude cries.. the teacher puts a bucket over u head and the kids kick it until ur deaf and u get wedgies for breakfast for the rest of ur life
from day 1 we're not trained to let out our feelings thats why gay guys seem so different asides from boning guys because they act on feelings.. we act on commitment

Hmm..I must say this is an intersting question. That's funny how you hope we'll just "figure it out". Now that you mention that I can see it applies to every guy I've ever known. You have feelings. Everyone does. But you guys are brainwashed from childhood and "programmed" to be the strong, silent types..unless you're gay. Some women say that they want men to "open up..be honest and Upfront.." But I don't think thats such a good idea. The chase is 99% of the fun of being with or almost being with a guy. It would not be cool for my guy to say gooey stuff..eh.

Here is why I am not: I tried the complete honesty thing one time. I held nothing back, and said what I thought. That didn't turn out so well. I really liked the girl at the time, and gave my honest opinion of whatever she asked me about. This chick had a lot of questions, too! It turns out I was too honest, and that was a bad thing. I don't talk to this girl at all anymore. She thought I was awesome, but 'too honest' as one of her friends told me.
The example I gave was the extreme in my case, but I've experienced it several times in various forms. My solution: Only be upfront when you have to. Although women say they want you to be honest, it's a lie. Various sources in my life say they like mysterious, and enigmatic guys more than an 'open book' type of guy.

Have you tried being upfront with women??
1 of these consequences inevitably results:
-You hurt her feelings
-She puts you down / tells you're wrong / just debates the point
-She doesn't understand / doesn't want to understand... "just do it my way dear, you can't go wrong"
-She dismisses you
-She really really listens to what you are "saying". It might not make sense, it might be corny and lame, but she listens and "hears" you.
Men don't communicate with words. Hence we don't talk much, even with frens. We comment on actions, not possibilities, hence the differences.

and that i think that you're an open e book even as it comprises your 'guy' emotions? From what you assert, i'd collect that she likes you. perchance she is on her maximum proper habit with you with a view to electrify you. we do not DO stuff to confuse YOU. we are anxious and scared and hectic about a lot of issues. Impressing your 'beau' is one among them. An exhilaration that you note on her section would nicely be anxiousness or jittery-ness on her section. a mushy communication ought to shed some mild. loosen up a tad.

Simple. Insecurity. That is pretty much it. Plus we are programmed from childhood that we are not allowed to cry or show weakness. Since we are the pursuers of love and sex, we also show hesitation because we are the ones opening ourselves up and putting ourselves out there.

OMG that is soo fu**ing true! im kinda in that situation rite now too, im in band with this girl that i started hangin with now and i think i like her but i wanna see if she likes me and i wanna tell her how i feel, but its just hard to be like" hey Claire I like you" actually funny thing i did that **** in like kindergarten, just went up to this girl tha ti used to like and stare at and i told her "lauren i like you" that was her name: and she actually told me back so maybe it is a good idea to just be strate up with some women. but i think us guys have that tremeoundous fear of rejection! We are always in denial that we fear rejection when its damn true that fear more than 75% of other **** in the world. now another question arises from all this, should we ask girls if they like us? or just tell them ourselves? ladaies who read this give ur opinion in future answers!
