Singles & Dating - 14 September 2006

Was seeing a guy.....went great, lots of contact, got flowers, phone calls, texts....I was feeling pretty secure with the situation.
He's a "nice" guy, I know his family, and I dare say i was beginning to fall for this one.
So, He left a couple of weeks ago to be at school, as he's finishing up his last year...he'll be home every 2 weeks.
For awhile, he called and texted as usual, and our conversations were lengthy and fun....
Then it all seemed to stop. First, three days went by, and I figured he was busy, and called him. That was fine- things seemed normal....now it's been days again since that conversation. I called last time, so I feel like I should wait it out.
But each day that goes by, I'm doubting this whole thing, and I feel sad about it....
Should I start to accept that things are going downhill and move on? Should I call again, or wait for him to call me?
Since it's a new relationship, would it bother a guy, or seem desperate if I asked him why he isn't calling

I have done a lot of things in my life that Im not proud of but one thing I am proud of is the friendship that we have. We have always had fun together on here and off. Yahoo kicks me off and I come right back just to read YOUR questions and answers. ok so theres this kid i kinda like but i only met him like twice. hes really sweet and i seen how he acts. and i really like him. so my friend amanda is gunna hook me up with him during indoor track. but i had the idea that since another one of my friends, kim, who knows him semi well would introduce me to him at a football game on friday, but kim i found out wants him for herself eventhough i liked him before she did.. and dunno what to do... Because I'm trying to look hard for my one true love and I keep waiting and waiting. But hardly any guy on this campus turns a head on me. It shouldn't bother me, because I don't want to look hot or anything. So, what do you think? I am 18 and I have a girlfriend who i've been dating for over a year and who I absolutely love. I mean it when I say she could be the one if only it wasn't for one thing... she is sooo busy, she almost never has any time for me. I see her like once a every 2 weeks, sometimes twice. I am a very passionate guy and I feel alone when I am not with her, thus she is causing somewhat of a depression. What should I do? Should I just be happy I see her at all. What would you do? There's this guy that is interested in me, but i am having second thoughts because of some things he's mentioned to me. One that really has me concerned is the fact he seems to still be bitter towards his mother for letting him grandmother raise him. He says he loves her, but he hates being affectionate towards her as far as hugging and kissing her. He seems to be bitter also towards his kids' mother because when he was incarcerated, not once did she visit. His mother only visited once. SHould I run to the nearest exit.

Broke up with him that day until he got his stuff straight. My question is how can you get over someone lying to you for so long and he knows your past about how you have been done from other guys and he is just like them(dawg) He finally broke up with his girl moved into his own apartment which I am over there alot and has done everything that he could for me to trust him again. He denies ever having anything with the girl but I kept telling him it was something for her to act the way she did. This happened June of last year but it's hard to get over because I see this ugly girl everyday at work and I just keep thinking about what happened last year. I want to get past it but it's hart for me. People at my job tell me that the girl is messy and how some have heard her trying to plot something against me cause she wants my man even though she has her own. This girl I'm getting to know, she was greeted me by gently brushing her hand over my shoulder, same as when she was leaving. Does this mean she likes me and has increasing affection for me? My boyfriend moved into a new apartment and he asked me to move in with him next month. I agreed and we planned on me bringing stuff up this weekend.

The past few days, he has been calling me and his cell phone keeps dropping the call. Rather than go somewhere else where he can call from a real phone, he gives up or doesn't call back. But when we do talk, he's in an unusually good mood (why would he be happy if we haven't talked?)

He was on his way to work this morning and he called me to remind me to bring up something. He then asked what I was doing today and he reminded me to pack the car with the stuff. The phone cut out and he didn't call back. I thought he would have at least called when he got to work.

Should I continue with the plan and pack the car? Or should I just say forget it? Are guys really content with only talking to their girlfriend for 5 minutes a day?

We started kicking strong and we both started having deep feelings for eachother. I told him how I felt and told him that I can longer share him. Afew months after I said that he told me him and his girl broke up because they argued too much. He always gave me the time that I needed when I wanted it so there was never really any reason for me to complain. He always told me that he stayed at home with his mom which I never beleived because I am not stupid been cheated on before so I know the all the signs. Anyway the girl told me that he was trying to get her to break up with her man because he told her he loved her and she told him that she wasnt going to do that for him. Alot of things she said I beleived but some I didnt like she said everyone at work kept telling her that he was still with him and he was denying it I told her you see me everyday you should have asked me she also sees me with him and never said a thing. not done will send part 3
