a new man in my life. I have been divorced for 6 years. I was in a relationship with another man for 3 years and did some dating around that. I have posted a profile on some singles sites, but have never been really excited about responses to them. I can take care of my self financially. There are only a few things I don't feel comfortable doing alone (like eating out), but I can usually find a friend to do things with. I am 51 years old and not getting any younger. Guys will still buy me drinks and ask me to dance (early in the evening), but the thought of bringing a new guy into my intimate space doesn't excite me. It just seems like a lot of trouble. Is it OK to just settle for being content and alone? I am the funniest person I know and I have a great time in general. I meet lots of nice guys and I feel bad when I have to say, "I'm sorry, this isn't going to go any farther." What do you think? Could it be that they just push things too fast for me?

Ok let's say this guy you just have this feeling that he likes you. But he's so hot and cold. So maybe there's other girls he might also like. How do you make him like you more. So that maybe you can be at the top of the list? I mean I know you can't make someone like you. But if they already kind of do. How can you make them want you more? I always try to look my best so please don't say try to look better. Because I don't want him to just like me for that. Then there could always be someone prettier. I just want him to see me, who I am inside!!! But he's shy so kind of hard to talk to. So any opinions would be helpful!!! Thanks

How enormous of a deal is a guy in not perfect shape? If you found a guy who was decent looking, very nice, sensitive, and cares for you, just is't in perfect shape. I've alwas been curious. Not obese (or anything near), but give me your thoughts :)

Why is it hard to find someone who will love and appreitate you for you and not for your looks......I mean i think im a kick butt person and i am myself all the time but because im not pretty (in other peoples eyes) i never get asked out by the opposite gender...im not saying i want all the attnetion in the world but why cant guys just realize that there is more to a person then looks...and i mean i know alot of guys will be responding othis saying its not only guys that do this but its just aggrivating that people are so judgmental on looks....why not go out with a person because you like them as a person and you dont just like there boobs, or butt, or hair, i mean isnt it in the end the person you love and not there appearince? She is everything. I mean you have no idea how much i love her. And I am not too young, love happens any age?

She's 13, im 15. She used to be all over me, well people started talkin about it, I kinda rushed her, and just different things happend, and now she seems she dont like me at all. She told her friends she has no feelings for me at all. But she told her mom that she is just scared, and I know her mom wouldnt lie to me. Her mom also said that if I really really like somone else, then i should go for it. But if I really really like her daughter, than i should be patient. I mean we barely barely even talk anymore, whats the deal?


I mean i've liked and many girls, but none like her. There is just something about her, and I know I sound crazy since I'm only 15, but i'm being dead honest. I would do ANYTHING to get her back, will she come back around? And what should I do? I mean because, it was obvious she liked me, she even sent me a song one time, and I think she was trying to say something to the effect that she likes me, just doesnt know what to do. But i missed the point. Well now it seems she has lost those feelings, for no apparent reason, so what should i do to get her back??

I met this guy online, & we have been talking for 8 months. He is now in Afghanistan. We have been writing letters, emailing each other, sharing pictures, talking almost daily through IM, & he even calls me weekly. We have opened up, & shared some of deepest secrets. I do love him because I developed these feelings for him without sex complicating things. I am aware of people being different in person. I am also aware of the risk of what you see and feel could not really be there so I don't need anyone to tell me that. My question is do you think it's possible to fall in love with someone the way I did, & then get married? He comes home in 5 weeks, & no we are not getting married when he comes home I don't know when any of this is suppose to happen number 1 because I am not rushing into anything, and number 2 we know we need to get to know each other in person he just wants me to be his fiancé instead of is girlfriend while we do it due to the fact we have 8 months under our belts.

ok, I've never had a boyfriend and I'd never been kissed.
I went to Italy for 2 weeks this summer, while I was there one time in the subway, a random (but really cute!) guy kissed me, it was a tiny peck, he got off the subway too quickly for me to say anything so I just laughed.
The thing is that I don't know if I should consider it an actual kiss, since it wasn't with someone I even knew, lasted as long as a blink, and wasn't romantic at all.
