Soft can be several things. Either you are a soft person, you got soft skin. But is he trying to tell you that as an insult or as a compliment. That's the major difference.

the intent with which he said it would pretty much determine that. like if after making out, he said that in a good way, then it's something good. If he says you're soft and then starts ignoring you, it's bad.
"soft" could mean a large variety of things, and in slang terms could mean pretty much anything.

if he's your bf, he's probably referring to you being soft and cuddly like a teddy bear? but Im sure you knew that. Get over yourself! kidding! I remember in high school this slutty girl always made out with her hott boyfriend in class. They were all lovey dovey in class, and after they kissed, the guy moaned, "mmm, you're soft!"
