How enormous of a deal is a guy in not perfect shape? If you found a guy who was decent looking, very nice, sensitive, and cares for you, just is't in perfect shape. I've alwas been curious. Not obese (or anything near), but give me your thoughts :)

Everyone is different, I've dated body builders and fine men who look like a movie star but the IQ of a snail. And I've also date me who are 20 lbs over weight and were the most fun ever to be with. If a girl is shallow enough to be entertained by a man who flexes his man-boobs or constantly looks in the mirror and says how good he looks, over an enlightening conversation or more with a guy who has manners, a sense of humor, and a great personality, then she is not worth being with inthe first place.

Not a big deal at all. I've dated guys of all different shapes and married a rather scrawny one. Looks are a very minor part of what attracts a person past the first 10 seconds. It's how you treat people that's important.

It's not a big deal at all. I fell in love with my boyfriend and he's not in shape (neither am I) also he has vitligo and it doesn't even matter to me. He's nice, he treats me like a queen, and loves/cares for me very much. Some females are very shallow when it comes to the way men look and some aren't. You just have to find you one that isn't all about how a man looks or whether or not he's in shape. That's no way to choose a mate. (In my opinion that is)

Well, that depends on the woman, I think. If all they care about is how they look and what others think, then I would guess that they would want a guy that fits in with that and would be accepted. But those of us who pick our friends for who they are and have good self-esteem, then being perfect isn't in the top 10 things we want in a friend or a bf.

Straight up... Girls are more forgiving than guys. Just a fact. Honestly, the dudes you see hanging around dissing womens' looks are usually trolls. But the girls are ultimately more concerned about what a guy IS on the inside than the outside. Trust. I have a lot of friends and I've seen everything. A girl will go for a guy who is sweet and loving than a guy that is just a pretty boy. We are more about the heart than the looks.... well, most of us. :)

Personality is the key thing. Alot of those guys in "perfect" shape are conceited tools. How they treat me is always more attractive than a 6 pack.

I honestly couldnt care less what the guy looks like or anything i think that most ppl I know agree too. I mean as long as this guy is nice and he loves you and he knows how to make you smile than thats all that really matters does that answer your question I hope so because that comes from my heart! *:-D

I'm an adult woman. I'm so NOT shallow. If I found a man that's sincere, and incredibly nice, I don't care if his six pack, has fallen below his belt. I want a man that can make me laugh, and is honest. Looks is just the icing on the cake ~

It's not a deal at all...I've never seen a guy in "perfect" shape...I've dated fit guys, average guys, and guys carrying a few extra pounds...what matters most to me is that there is chemistry/spark...we get along well, and he has the personality qualities that matter to me...

I've always preferred guys a little on the chubby side. They're nice and soft to cuddle with. And if I gain a couple extra pounds, I don't have to worry about being judged.
