Hmmmm...a watch, a shirt, if he plays a sport then maybe a shirt with his favorite team on it, a sweatshirt, something you baked, a sweet card, tickets to see an action movie he might like--any one of those might be nice. You could also make him little coupon things that say like, "Good for one back rub" "Good for one plate of cookies" "Good for one dinner date" "Good for one night where I make dinner", etc. :) I hope you have a marvelous first anniversary and God bless your relationship!

Maybe do all guy stuff. Take him to do anything he wants. Doesn't HAVE to be sex......but great idea. Guys LIKE sex. Try to bring up conversations that somewhat can give you a hint to what he wants, then surprise him. EVERYONE LOVES surprises. Try to find out exactly what he wants without letting him find out. :) GOOD LUCK!
