This guy I got to know a bit and gone out with a couple of times told me that he's starting to see somebody. At the very moment, I suddenly felt "crushed". But I wouldn't even picture myself with a guy like him b/c he's 19 and I'm 22. Might I be thinking as if I want him to myself as a friend with benefits. Oh, that's how we started off by the way.

Do people really get bored with the one they are with and always seek someone new while they are with that person?

Do people cheat more when the relationship has lasted to long?

Can a relationship last to long?

I am sorry, but i am worried. I have a great thing going and I have been for over a year. I never want to lose what I have. I don't want to lose it to someone else or because of boredom. I just wonder do all relationships have to go bad at some point?

Or can a truely happy couple really make it faithfully and together as long as they want?

So I've been seeing this girl for 4 months and she hangs out a lot with her ex boyfriend because she promised him when she left him she "would always be there for him." The problem is, when she finishes hanging out with him she usually argues with me about nothing, or she'll push me away. Last week it came to a head because she saw him 3 times and we ended up in 3 arguments. One time before he was drunk so she let him come over and sleep in her bed (although on his side) rather than drive home. He kind of knows she has a new bf but isn't certain. I gave her two choices, to either tell him about us or to choose me or him. She says she can't decide. There are a lot of details I'm leaving out like he's 34 on disability and she's only 20. I'm 25 but I have a stable job and am well liked by other people. Can I get some advice as to whether I'm being reasonable here or am I going way over the top?I know it was my mistake for letting things go on for awhile

he's a detective at the office and at first i really didn't find him appealing in any way. but the more i hear him talk and see him, the more i find myself really drawn in and impressed. i am currently working in. i'm in my younger mid 20's and i think he is about 39ish, but looks much younger. i don't think he's married... should i pursue something or drop it??

I have a boy-friend of a year and two-in-a-half months. We are both 15 'courting' and I sometimes I have to wonder if he wants to hold my hand, and other times I want him to. How can I know if he wants to? He's kinda shy, and reserved, and I don't know if he's nervous that I won't want him to, or what. We havn't talked about holding hands or stuff, just that we don't want to kiss. BUT I want to know how I can decipher the guy code of "I want to hold her hand so bad but I'm scared and I don't know if she wants me to" and the code to let him know "You can hold my hand" when he's possibly thinking that and when he's not.

I am reaching my 2O's, and i broke up with this guy- our relationship lasted a good solid year, and we were passionate about each other--wanted to marry each other, have kids etc... Ive read articles where people talk about 'never forgetting their first love', and thinking about it often-even though their married. i dont want that, and i want to find the right right guy soon, is it true that first loves are so difficult to forget/ or get over...even when you find someone else to love? There is this girl that i like... i mean i love a lot. But i couldn't make a move because of 2 reasons. First she's my friend. And second im not her type. Ok ill be honest... im ugly and im afraid of what she would say if i tell her what i feel. You see all through out my life i've been rejected and disregarded by many people-including my family. me and him started out as very good friends, he liked my friend, asked her out, she said no. i had a boyfriend, who stood me up on vals day and i ended up spending valentine with my friend. he cooked for me, we talked about our past relationships, and a week latter he calls me and tells me he is attracted to me.

i like him too, but my girlfriend is upset, and she doesnt want us to date . according to her, he asked her out first and she rejected him. is that enough reason.
we are dating now, and my girlfriend doesnt talk to me anymore.
