Do people really get bored with the one they are with and always seek someone new while they are with that person?
Do people cheat more when the relationship has lasted to long?
Can a relationship last to long?
I am sorry, but i am worried. I have a great thing going and I have been for over a year. I never want to lose what I have. I don't want to lose it to someone else or because of boredom. I just wonder do all relationships have to go bad at some point?
Or can a truely happy couple really make it faithfully and together as long as they want?

Relationships are always tough. I have found that the way to make them last is to not worry about the longevity. If all we did was focus on when something was going to end, why bother starting? At any rate if you have a good thing going cherish it. If something goes wrong with your mate, try and help them as best you can. Remember some of the best things about being in a relationship are not only sharing good times but having someone there for you in the bad. And if the relationship doesn't work, cherish that, you experienced something, which is better than nothing at all.

Of course a truly happy couple can make it. Look at happy elders who've been married for 60 some years! The key is to understand yourself and your other and you will find the combination that keeps you together...and no...only some people would cheat after a long relationship. Just keep your interests alive in your relationship and you'll always be happy.

Obviously all relationships end at some time, because no one lives forever, but I don't think that's what you meant. There are couples who stay together and still really love each other after 50 years. It does happen. Just not all the time.

I have been with my husbandfor over eight ears now, and we have been married going on three years. We are still very happy, and plan to be for a long time to come. I feel that if you both really love eachother, and you really know eachother then you can make it through anything. For us, it really is til death do us part, because we are so in love.

Every relationship, I guess, technically has an end. Even if it doesn't mean breaking up, one of you will die someday...and depending on your beliefs, I suppose that could be an end...
But if you are truely in love, I think you can have a committed happy relationship until your death...

Yes. In one way or another every relationship will end. At any point in time, one of the members of the relationship could die, or just decide that they are not in love anymore.

no not all relationships end. most people that break up with eachother so quickly they only got married because they thought they loved the other but if you truly do love that person that your love can last a life time. you just have to stay true. stay true to the one you love.
