You're the best person to answer that one, dude. Do an honest self-assessment. Take a hard, self critical look at your personal appearance and grooming, your clothes, your habits of speech, your recreations and passtimes ... what exactly do you have to offer that a single woman might be interested in? ... are your expectations of the sort of woman you will attract realistic? What positive steps have you taken lately to make yourself more attractive?
Try running a personal ad or two, and see what kind of feedback you get. Or ask some female friends or relatives to help you with some constructive criticism.

Sometimes people don't want a ready-made family. And teenagers are a hard group of folk to get along with, as a rule. So, maybe it isn't even the boy. Maybe it is something you are doing or not doing. Look in the mirror and talk about yourself...see what you say.

Be careful who you expect interest from. Some women will think you are just looking for a "mother" for your son. The "right" woman will love you both. Don't be discouraged! Be more concerned in why a woman would be interested and not why she wouldn't. Some women(girls) are only looking for a "meal-ticket". God works in mysterious ways and he knows better than we do, maybe its just that the WRONG ones haven't been interested. Good Luck!

Being a single dad has no bearing on why you are not getting interest from women. Are you making yourself available and letting women know that you are interested? Get out have fun and when women see that you are fun and intersting they will come to you.

I don't think the fact that you have a teenage son makes a difference - he's almost grown up. The only thing that might make a difference is if he doesn't want you to date and he drives the women away. If your son is okay with you dating then it just might be that you haven't found the right woman to date yet.

I was a single mom of four kids. What the problem is , is not you or your teen son, most of the time it comes from the person that your trying to get with, cause they don't know how to deal with the responisablity of your son, or they don't want to deal with the e-x. but if i were single , I'd look you up...lol

you are probably just looking in all the wrong places. I know that my dad used to try internet dating but that didnt work. something will happen. I know that once my dad met someone he is a lot happier so good luck and remember to keep your head up high and look confident~ ladies like that.
