When you pin all of your hopes and dreams on another person, you will, at some time, be disappointed. But from that disappointment, you will learn, and move on. Love is not all fun. But it can last with perserverance and growth. But most of these people here with those BF and GF questions are WAY too young to be messin' round.

no you can be in a relationship just know who you are giving yourself to, dont trust a guy that has three kids with three different ladies and expect him to be faithful to you, dont sleep with a girl that has been with dozen of guys and shes only 18. you have to use your best judgement and listen to friends, look for signs, if he is late from work and look like he just got out of the shower , guess what he might be cheating, if she is all dressed up just to go get milk or something from the store guess what she is cheating. open youreyes and make the right decision in choosing a boyfriend or girfriend.!!! dont always think it is going to be a bad relationship just because you had a bad relationship in the past. goodl uck.

Because sooner or later you are going to want to have sex and then be in love and then have a mortgage and then make babies and then get cheated on and then get divorced and then meet a nice counselor in rehab.

Lots of my family and friends ask about girlfriends, but I tend to notice how lust blinds me, so I tend to avoid anything long-term. I like to let 90 days pass to figure out if she's a keeper.

Do you think it preferable to go through life and stay emotionally aloof? You may keep yourself from being hurt (romantically) but would also be allowing yourself to miss out on so very much...if you can't feel pain, ya can't feel the joy that preceeded it.
