I appreciate honest and serious answers although I do ask for fun because I like to hear your speculation and experience.Today we talked about trust. Her and I established that we trust each other totally. I said it's love. She called me back later in the evening and we talked some more and laughed. We are both very early in the healing phase of our broken relationships and I am not certain that she is totally commited to a new direction yet. I am a tall, fit professional man in the military. I have been an officer for 8 years. I consider myself to be good looking. I am good natured, have a heck of a sense of humour, and I am always trying to find a reason to smile. I am financially responsible, although I would not say wealthy by any means, but I will have all my debts gone in less than 6 months. I am compassionate and loving when I am in a relationship. Despite all this I cannot for the life of me figure out why I have been single for the last 4 years. I am now giving up on internet dating. I have spent money needlessly on singles groups and internet dating and I would like to know where the heck is my future wife? Oh I am 34 years old. I am not an old fogey. I am in shape and don't smoke other than when I go out to drink (not often).

I recently broke up with my boyfriend who was still in love with his ex-partner and told me I had to understand that he had been with this woman for five years and he wanted time to himself. But he wanted to be friends with me. A week after we split he invited me to a presentation night. I didn't think it was a good idea only after a week of splitting. He contacted me the following week to catch up and see a movie so I did all he wanted to brag at how he ended the relationship. After two months he contacted me again to catch up, this time he was ever so nice (guilt) and stated that he was hoping to go on a holiday and hope his ex-partner comes with him but didn't know how her new partner would feel and he said maybe we can catch up again. I'm not sure what should I do?
