probably something I shouldn't worry about, but I thought I would ask anyway...
ok, my g/f told me that she was sorry.. just out of complete randomness, she says sorry. I ask her if anything is wrong, and she says no, she is just sorry. did I miss something?

sounds like she has a belief that things go wrong it is her fault or she had a part in it. This can stem from childhood. Dont take it personally that she is sorry coz she done something probably not just a habit she has developed. he is apologising for you thinking that something is wrong with her in other words she is apologising for our concern for her. It is confusing I know I do the same thing but it not a major issue and you havent missed anything. If there are other major issues then maybe you can help her seek counselling or something along those lines. Guess you can tell her that dont be sorry , you look upset I thought i would ask what is wrong and if there is how can we fix it.........no problem

Sounds like guilt in a BIG way. No one apologizes for nothing, if you say sorry it's for something.........No?

i would tell her what did she do and there's no point in saying sorry if you don't have the decency to say what your sorry about.
