has happened and they need to leave right away...Thats a pretty good sign that they did not think the date was going well, and wanted to get out of the date all together?

Or can this truly be a problem, that really happened?..Accidents happen, right?

I know a few times that I was going on a blind date with a guy I asked a friend to call me about an hour into the date so I had an out. So yes, it is possible that a call could be a sign that they thought the date was going badly and they wanted to get out of it.
But on the other hand, there have been times that I have gotten true emergency phone calls during dates, and I had to rush out. It only happened a couple of times, but it can happen. The only way you really will be able to tell is if you get a call later apologizing and asking for another date. Then you will know that there really was an emergency and it wasn't a set up.

Both men and women are guilty of playing this backdoor game. My personal rule? When I go out on a date, I leave my phone in the car, or put it on silent and do not answer it during the date. If a woman does the same, I have that much more respect for her. If her phone rings while on a date and she answers, I don't ask her out again. Its just a sign of respect for me. Its a game I don't play when it comes to dating.

If they don't go out with you again, it was a bail out call
