My uncle is in the hospital with heart failure & many other health problems. His chances of survival are not good and he (as well as our family) is aware that his days may be numbered. He's called an attorney into his hospital room to update his will so he is realistic about his odds. He is 9 hours away so I cannot get to see him quickly. However, I want to do something nice for him and his wife. I am already sending him a "thinking of you/praying for you card" but want to do something more. It's just difficult to think of anything. Since he is in a hospital, he's on a strict diet, so I can't send a food basket or any other kind of edible treat. He's a very "man's man" so he would not appreciate flowers or balloons. I'm just stumped as to what I can do to let them know I care without making them feel like I'm trying to say "goodbye. I don't think you're going to make it". Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Mine was while I was working in New York as a nannie for some one famous. And after a night out we were waiting for a train my friend at the time well we met two janitors at the empire state building and two men took us on a tour of the building anyways - long story short we walked around the top of the building !!!!!!!! No rails just schooching. Good lord later we thought they could have killed us !!!!! Just one push eh?? But it was exhilerating at the time!!

It has nothing to do with her. She is great. I love her with all of my heart. I just don't like sex. I don't see the point in getting naked and sticking your dick in someone. It was cool for the first few times I had sex. It's just not my thing though. I'd rather spend the time watching a movie together or going for a walk in the park together instead of having sex. I just don't know how to tell her though that I don't want to have sex anymore. I might be able to deal with it once every few months or something. It just seems like she thinks that we should be doing it at least once a week or something. If I act like I don't want to then she gets upset, and thinks that it has something to do with her. I've tried to tell her that it's not her, and that I just don't like sex. She doesn't believe me though. Can someone please tell me what to do about this situation.

what can i do? my report card came in today, and my parents are sooo angry, i tried my BEST this year to get good grades, and i ended up with a 2.6 GPA and 4 B's and 2 c+'s, now they wont talk to me and they want me to transfer schools and they want me to lose all my friends, they dont know how hard it is for me to make new friends, it took me two years to make friends in my highschool right now, its not fair, its not like i have straight F's. what should i do? my parents think im stupid and i dont study, when in reality i study until like 12 am most days.. i dont know its like i cant concentrate in school that much anymore.. i guess im going to be a failure like my parents say =[

...she is 16 but her computer wont let her get in any chat rooms or other websites to talk to people...her parents set up all these things on the computer to make her not be able to get on anything besides email or aim. and she really wants to talk to guys her own age becuase she just went thourgh a breakup so any ideas?

Why is it that people on here get offended when people answer a question with confidence?

i.e.: Some asks why do they think they are special or what would they do if their spouse cheated...

With an answer saying that they know that they're beautful and know that they're worth a respectable relationship. etc...

People get upset over this and will thumbs down their answers every time. I don't understand this!?

Are people seriously THAT low on themselves that they even feel intimidated through an internet advice and answer column?

Most of my relatives are messed up about what they need to be doing in life. One is in jail, one is homesless, another well, it gets worse. I try not to say anything, since they rarely listen, but there is a part of my life that was once part of their life too.
I feel really confused, should I risk everything of mine to help them?

Not calling or texting u for a whole day (though they're used to always keep in touch and being all sweet) and then when u text them asking what's wrong they go like "Before anything i just wanna tell u that i'm in a bad mood and i just don't wanna say something stupid that's why i didn't text u just don't know, i'm just gonna keep my f*ckin mouth shut in cause i don't wanna fight, ttyl"!!! I have been engaged for nine months an i dont agree on prenups cause i think when you love someone you should not put limitations on them. Me an my fiancee has been arguing about this for the last 3 months an my grandma thinks its unifair an i should not marry than my future mother in law you know" agress with her beloved son about the pre nup" so that becomes a problem. To top things off she tries persuade me on the phone for four hours talking about he will love me more if i agreed. i have not talked to her for three days she use to be someone i confided in an now i just dread too talk to her. i come to find out that she is the one that is very passive in her marriage.

My fiance has voiced that he considers himself prolife and when we started having sex he asked if I got pregnant what would I do? I told him I would keep it and that I feel like I could take care of a child.
I didnt however tell him that I had been pregnant when I was 20 and had chose an abortion, one of which was the abusive manipulative man that was the would be father.
I have never told my family and only my ex and 1 of my friends know about it.
Now that we are engaged I fell like I should tell him because he should know everything about me, but im also afraid of losing him.
I know that if we were ment to be he would except what happened.
At the same time though I dont think I ever have to tell anyone and that the only person that ever would need to know is my doctor.
I cant decide if I should tell him and have him think less of me (as a guy who had a similiar question did) or just leave it in the past.
