Me and my husbands ex-girlfriend who is also the mother of his kids did not get along at the beginning of our relationship. However since then, we have developed a civil relationship that you might could call being friends. When we see each other we talk about men, laugh like typical women. Two months ago my husband confessed that he'd cheated on me with her once before we got married (over a year ago now) and told me how sorry he was and begged for my foregiveness. I havn't seen her since he told me this but I will this weekend when we visit his families house for mothers day. Do I act like nothing happened?

His dad asked me to make him a cd to play at the funeral of my 23yo cousin who's passed. Do you have any suggestions?

I live with my boyfriend, and alot of people say, ''O you went and got married!"

I dont consider us being married, I think we are still somewhat dating. True enough I dont work, and rely on him to fully support which he does!

I still dont considered it married. I love how things are and so does he!

Are you happy just living together?

My boyfriend goes to a tavern every afternoon. He goes 3 days a wk. to play cards. The other 4 days, he just goes (for 2-4 hrs.)
there to socialize, but does not always drink, he may sometimes have 7-up. He'll play machines, cribbage or just yak. He is retired, can afford it & has no interest in other avenues. But it is everyday without exception, and he wants to go alone. It kind of a "good ole boys" thing. Should this be acceptable?

Sometimes i feel i may be overreacting, but correct me if i'm wrong. Why do i feel as if our relationship revolves around his son? He has a five year old and a sixteen year old daughter. He grew apart from his daughter because - to cut the long story short, he was young when they had her, they both (him/baby'smom) gave up custody to the bbymom's parents. So they grew apart. However, they're now trying to rebuild their relationship. But my major concern is, my fiance's almost obsession with his son. I love the kid - he's adorable, and i get on swell with him. But its just that the kid removed from the equation, my fiance changes and becomes disinterested in doing stuff together. I may be reading the signals wrong, but it seems scarry at times. Left alone just the two of us, he spends 95% of his time on his laptop, suggestions to do outdoor things or any other fun stuff is met with, i'm not feeling well or i'm too tired. He has slight sleep apnea, i understand but can't he at least try?

I work in a hospital in childrens outpatients. Today I rang a parent to offer them an appointment for their child. A 6 year old answered the phone and after asking for her parents she informed me she was alone. I didnt belive her and decided to ring back after 30 mins (this was 9.30am). I rang back and again she answered. After questioning her some more, she told me that her parents had gone to the 'mortgage man' and would be back at 4.15pm. Her older brother who is 11 is at school and she is sick at home. I couldnt believe this! I was/am so upset that after all thats happening in the news that people will still leave their children unattended. Why did both parents have to go to the bank? I went to one of the Child Protection doctors and she rang up social services and had police sent around to the house. Was I wrong for reporting this??

Married 16 years. For several years now, I just do not have the interest in sex. I'm OK with once a month if that. She wants it all the time. It's like our roles are reversed. How common is this? P.S. We are both 34 yrs old.
