Neither it should be a working compromise. Have one or the other being a boss all the time does not work and will damage the relationship. Compromise.

There shouldn't be a "boss" in a relationship. It's a 50/50 trust, love, and all the compromise in the world. If one or the other is bossing the other around... it's not a very balanced or healthy relationship. You should both be doing your part. If you think there is a boss who needs to be controlling in the relationship.. you shouldn't be in one.

An effective relationship should mean a partnership and therefore it should be 50/50.

Both parties will on occasion need to compromise but that is all part and parcel. In a good relationship with compatible partners no-one needs to be the boss because you pretty much see eye to eye anyway and want to do similar things.

There is usually one dominant one in a relationship, sorry lads but it could be the woman, some men are happy with that. The best scenario is the man, who thinks he's the boss because she makes him feel the king, but all the time, she is pulling the strings, and he loves her to bits.

I dont think anyone should be the "boss". I think everything should be equal. Even tho the man should provide for the woman. There shouldnt be a "boss" because that would be a strain on your relationship.

There should really be no Boss in a relationship. It should be 50/50 but I am a little old fashioned, I like to be considered in all decisions and I like to think that my opinion amounts and figures into the final decision. But ultimately my husband still has the final say and I like it that way.

Any relationship should be a partnership with each partner doing their best to support it. Each person has strengths and weaknesses and a partnership can benefit from sharing those. For instance I am very good at cooking, my partner is not. I do most of the cooking not because I have to but because I am good at it (and I'd hate to have to eat his cooking). Even though he can and does cook his own meals (we both work) a shared meal is usually cooked by myself because quite frankly eating his rubber shrimp and burned spinach (yes, he managed to burn his spinach) is unappealing. HE is good at getting important things done right away without procratination which I can be prone to. Thus if something comes up that needs to be dealt with right away, he does it.

Boss...the only "Boss" in a relationship should be a good smelling cologne....

I detest any domineering person - man or woman. Running down the person who claim to love is simply not love.

While many women admit finding men taking the lead sexy, some men find women leading sexy too. It all boils down to personal preferences. The basic factor is respect, not being the "boss".

I think it should be a 50-50 relationship. If someone is constantly telling you what to do and making all of the decisions for you, you might just get fed up and knock them over the head. lol. Ok, so I think it should be equal, but I tend to let my hubby lead a lot because I just think it's sexy. but when it really matters we both decide together.
