Other - Family & Relationships - 27 March 2007

The family consists of:
* The guy I like (who I've known since 15 years ago, but we weren't in contact for the last 10 years and only recently got into contact again).
* His parents (who are really nice to me).
* His younger brother (also nice company).

I've never entertained a family at my own townhouse before. I'm only 26, and usually it'd be my parents over, or just a good girl friend, or a party with work collegues.

If I invite them over for dinner, what can we do after dinner? My place isn't that big. Got 3 seater sofa, TV, DVD player, piano, stereo, they like to dance but my floor space isn't that big, got Jenga, Scrabble, and a cute cat.

Any suggestions?

I went to stay with my daughter in my ex-husband's house in another state. My ex-husband had moved due to job reasons.
My daughter is 14 years old and her grandmother was helping to take care of her.

Well, now I left and came back to the state where I live. I left while my daughter was at school.

My ex-husband, daughter and her grandmother are accusing me of "stealing" money and jewelry from the house. I did not take anything of theirs from the house.

My parents are saying that because of the way I left (behind their back), I have created bad feelings in my daughter and her grandmother's minds. They will have these feelings especially my child for the rest of my life. It is true that the relationship is now worse that before I went to stay with her.

They also claim that I hide and do not tell them things. They say that I need counseling which I am seeking. They feel that they went wrong in raising me??? I am an adult but my family life did not work.

i have been married for 1 year to a women i love so very much. i have a daughter that is 4 years old. the mother interupts our marriage so much with crazy lies and i am in iraq and away from my daughter so the way i get into contacts with her was through her mom i have had to quit that because the mother calls my wife and rubs it in that her husband called her and tells my wife about prior things we did in our relationship. i now have a 1 month old with my wife and i pay child support on time every time i want her to stay in her lane and not dissrupt our marriage. how can i keep her in her lane and leave me and my wifes relationship alone. how do i keep her in her lane and to leave are relationship alone because i know my baby's mom is in my life but not in my relationship. this is the only thing my wife and i argue about and with out this drama me and wife would be perfect!!! What can i do? please help!

Ok here goes. The other night i was drowning some hamsters in the sink (As i sometimes do) when i looked down and found myself sporting a massive erection. Now this isnt too weird for me, as ive gotten erections in the past while torturing animals, but they were larger animals (Cats and dogs) that i also enjoyed having sex with either during the torture or after they died. But i never got an erection while torturing a small animal before, i mean whats the point, theyre too small to penetrate anyway. We have been together for 6 years. He always belittles me infront of our kids ages 2 and 1 he does not respect me well anyways does anyone know if I can leave him legally and take the kids I do want him to be apart of their lives I just don't trust him to raise them he is a very angrey person and sometimes he takes it out on our kids.

i am 24 years old, and my father controls everything in my life. as long as i do what he wants, then we are fine, but as soon as i decide to do something that he doesnt approve of, even though he doesnt get mad at times, you can tell he is annoyed..what do u think i should do?..leave home? i am being nice on him in this message, but he has some kind of a passive aggressive thing going on... every body does what he wants, but i dont want to be one of his "servants"..okay, he is not really that bad, but from reading that do you think i should leave home? what should i do?

Because I think my boyfriend is lying. Not cheating thankfully, but behaving in a way that contradicts what he says. I can't really give you specifics because should he ever land on this question and recognise my username he'd go nuts.
He doesn't want to share any of his life with me (like letting me meet his family!), and seems to make up quite drastic stories as to why. Is it really worth it?

I don't get why its so addictive? my boyfriend smokes it he has been for 5 years before he met me i smoke it most the time with him but im not addicted coz i can go without it but he can't go a day with out it!! i cant see how its so addictive :S half of his friends r worse though a couple he knows just sit around all day doing pills and coke..and they said they can't go without doing it or they have a fit..is that true?? ok so all i wanna no is y is it so addictive..all it does to me is make me feel tired ?

I recently moved back home and became an Avon Rep and now im in a tight spot because my aunt order like 300 dollars worth of Avon from me and now doesnt want to pay me for it so im having to send it back so that Avon will credit my account anyways my grandma is angry and making feel like im doing something wrong but I like my job and I dont wanna get my account deleted because I dont get the their money on time because of stuff like this, my grandma griped about me not having a job now that I have one shes griping about how I work and my responsiblites as an avon rep, i told her if i dont get the money from my aunt then I dont get paid, what should I do? Im also attending college online and working my butt of and im so proud of myself for making good grades, and im working to save up some money what can I do to make this situation better, ive already tried explaining and that doesnt seem to be helping at all.
