There are a lot of things that a lot of people mistakenly call love. There is a physical attraction which is normally short lived if it doesn't grow to include mental attraction. The other side is a mental attraction, it too needs to grow and include the physical. There is also lust, the one night stands and unchecked hormones. We see these kinds of love every day. It is no wonder that the divorce rate is so high.

Real love can start any number of ways, but it usually ends up the same. It ends up as an unconditional caring torards the other person. When both people have this type of love it is a wonderful thing and will last forever. Sadly in too many cases one of the people falls out of love, and everything falls apart. Real love is not a 50%-50% deal. It is 100%-100%. It takes a lot of work to make it work. But with real love it doesn't seem like work because you are never doind it alone, but always with a dedicated partner.

Love is an unconditional commitment towards the other person. The thing that makes you the happiest is when you do something to make the other person happy or fulfilled.

Things happen in life, job, kids, bills, and on, and on. The two of you form a team to overcome these things together. Sometimes there is tension between the two of you, but love allows you to understand and listen to the other person and to make compromises to get back on the right path.

How does that sound for love?

Well, love has many meanings like something that gives a little pleasure to something one would die for.

Love is any of a number of emotions and experiences related to a sense of strong affection or profound oneness. Depending on context, love can have a wide variety of intended meanings. Romantic love is seen as a deep, ineffable feeling of intense and tender attraction shared in passionate or intimate attraction and intimate interpersonal and sexual relationships. Love can also be conceived of as Platonic love, religious love, familial love, and, more casually, great affection for anything considered strongly pleasurable, desirable, or preferred, including activities and foods. This diverse range of meanings in the singular word love is often contrasted with the plurality of Greek words for love, reflecting the concept's depth, versatility, and complexity.

Love is felt and can't be explained. It is the little things in life that you remember about love. For example, he places a small pot of roses @ your doorstep, you find it when you get home from a business trip. Or, he skips lunch just to see you smile... He walks you to your door, expecting nothing. He sits beside you and watches you put your makeup on... to me, that's love.

one theory believes we can smell potential mates to find a compatible breeder whose disease resistanct compliments our own to produce healthier off spring.

There are LOTS of biologicals involved in ALL human behavior.

Just don't let the science ruin the romance.

the saying we have to think first before we use or hearts has long been proven because the organ responsible for feelings is actually our brain, in the hypothalamus...so instead of saying i love you from the bottom of my heart, we could say i love you from the bottom of my hypothalamus..lmao...
