Huh? This girl said she had trust issues, not self-esteem issues.
You have obviously been hurt - ALOT. Even though you have been hurt alot you still need people. Sometimes we can skip a few steps of "checking they are legit" to get that close feeling. Or, other times, when we don't feel we need people, so much, we can put in a lot more "tests" to check out how trustworthy they are. Maybe try to look at people more objectively. Seek out people who tend to have stable relationships and seem genuine and honest. Sometime we filter a lot of what people are really like, for the way we want them to be like, or expect them to be like. It is hard to take a honest look and try to second guess others motives, intents and agendas but probably well worth the effort.

That is an interesting trust issue. One should be able to figure out if they can trust others but cant know if others do the same to you. OK thats what u are finally meaning anyway, get friends with that guy and try figuring it out. It will work.

Trust doesn't come in one day. First of all Question yourself, Any one trust you ? If yes, Why they trust you? If you have answers. Find out people who can match with your anwers!
May be you can trust them , if they withstand test of Time.
So, if u cannot trust anyone , no one trusts you!!

it takes a long time to build up trust and it is really hard to do, thereisnt really any specific way of finding out how to trust any one, it will come in its own time when you fell readyto trust them. good luck xx
