I am having a very hard time adjusting from going from an abusive/drama filled relationship to a healthy normal one.

I dont feel like my love for my current boyfriend is as strong and intense as it was for my abusive ex who was fired as a police officer for assault.

The bf I have now is caring, genuine, trustworthy, hot, great job humourous, and just all in all good hearted and my ex was a jerk but when things were great things were out of this world but things werent great very often...

Is there any advise you can give me about my new relationship....I feel as though something is missing. This is the 1st relationship where I am not jealous or mis-trusting

am a 28 years old man who get lots of advice from people, but maybe they have their own goals so I ask you strangers.

My mother says I should find my own place to live and move out from her house because she can't afford the food and phone bills.

My counsellor says I should try to keep things stable and not make any big moves and stay on my meds better.

My 16 year-old girlfriend says I should start trying to get my life straightened out for when the baby comes in a couple months.

My other girlfriend says her husband is starting to suspect and I need to quit seeing her so much.

My paorole officer says I need to get a better job than mowing a few yards for cash, but he doesn't know about the money I get from making meth in my mothers garage.

Now for my question: If you consider yourself smart, how far did you have to read before you realized this was a spoof?

over the years i have lost many friends and boyfriends, and now i have 2 good friends and a boyfriend and i love them alot, but for some reason i dont want to be with them i love them dearly but even with my boyfriend i dont want to be around him even tho we have been togther for over 4 years and i have been friends with the other girls for over 10 but i seem to be pushing people away all the time i dont even know why.

from when i was 6 my farther left me as a child but i dont know if that has anything to do with it.

i just have a really bad feeling at the bottom of my heart every time i am with people i love i just cant seem to be happy and carm.

with someone else? I loved single parenthood soooo much, now that I am with my partner things are much more stressful for everyone, regardless of the fact that i love him to death. Obviously those of you that are against single parenthood will disagree because kids "can't be raised properly without a mom and a dad present in the same house."

Regardless of all of that on a basic level single parenthood was just simply easier than doing it with someone else, but it seems not many people think that way...am I the only one?

I have a cousin who is a year younger than me , since childhood we have been inseparable.The issue is that for about a year now i have not talked to her ,because she's changed everytime i would call she had to go someplace or sometimes her mom (my aunt) would say she wasn't home.Even one time she answered and as soon as i said hello she hung up on me.I have asked her what did i do and she says nothing i miss her very much , but am afraid to call her i'm afraid she'll reject me or worse.What do i do how can i get back that special sisterhood we had.

I RECENTLY LET MY SON GO LIVE WITH HIS DAD AND IT HASNT BEEN ORDERED BY THE COURT THAT HIS DAD HAS FULL CUSTODY OF HIM YET..BUT I DONT FEEL THAT HIS DAD IS RESPONISBLE ENOUGH TO CONTINUE TO GUIDE HIM IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION. I NEVER HAD AN ATTORNEY BECAUSE AT FIRST WE ALL HAD AGREED THAT MY SON CAN GO LIVE WITH HIM SO I LET HIM HAVE CUSTODY. We just broke up recently, we had alot of emotional pain during the last 2 months of our 9 month relationship, i cried once too many times, we argued more, he was always busy, but i was always there because i truly loved him with all my heart. I kept holding onto that last hope i had in us. he told me not to give up, said he truly loved me once but that feeling got overshadowed by all the pain we have been through recently. I understand him i dont feel the same either, but we agreed to stay really good friends. Just seeing him today after last night's break up i kept strong, confident and smiley to show relief not pain. Truth is everything reminds me of him, his smell, his touch. I cant not see him completely. He said he needs me in his life he really wants to stay friends. we agreed to watch a movie this w/e. I think that maybe being friends will remind us of the good times but is it true that it could bring us closer again.. can we fall back in love we once felt so strong...?

I am getting worried about my relationship. My boyfriend was so stressed out about his job situation, he became distant and I took it personally. I thought he stopped caring about me but he did explain to me that he was very busy trying to sort out his job situation as he is very unhappy with his current job. I became needy and he got upset with me in the end. He said that he needs to concentrate and instead he had to worry about me and his job. So he told me to leave him alone these days. I have not contacted him since as I could see he got angry with me for being so needy but I worry now as I have not heard from him for the last 5 days? It all started about over 3 months ago, I had a crush of this fit girl but rejected me twice which made me felt bad. And it's becuase of that which made me slapped her butt, soon her cousin and her sister came and threatened me which made it worse.

I've been sending her emails to forgive me, she replied back which made me thought she did. But when I saw her, she shouted out "Stupid man." That didn't land a blow at all, but I've sent a few more, first to find me so we can talk, the second to forget it and the third to go again.

But I didn't know that I was harrasing her then until my tutor told me that I was. Now everytime I pass by her or her friends, I just feel like crap.

Like as if I would want to cut myself to get rid of that problem. What can I do? How can I end this stupidness? How can I talk to her and start over if people are just gonna discourage me? I need help lads and lasses.

i'm a virgin. my parents do not approve of my boyfriend (we just celebrated 1 year on saturday), but i love him to death and i have absolutely no doubt that i want him to be my first. i don't want my first time to be to a condom, so i want to know how i can obtain birth control and keep it a secret from my parents?? every year when my parents do the taxes they collect medical receipts from us and i wonder what would happen if i got on birth control but didn't say anything.

If I am truly a late bloomer in this society as I am called at 20 years old and still a virgin, then why is teens having sex called "teen sex" instead of just "sex"? If "teen sex" is the norm here, then there should be no "teen" in the term, as there's no "teen tennis" officially or "teen cooking"....

Am I making sense? Tell me I'm not.
