We just broke up recently, we had alot of emotional pain during the last 2 months of our 9 month relationship, i cried once too many times, we argued more, he was always busy, but i was always there because i truly loved him with all my heart. I kept holding onto that last hope i had in us. he told me not to give up, said he truly loved me once but that feeling got overshadowed by all the pain we have been through recently. I understand him i dont feel the same either, but we agreed to stay really good friends. Just seeing him today after last night's break up i kept strong, confident and smiley to show relief not pain. Truth is everything reminds me of him, his smell, his touch. I cant not see him completely. He said he needs me in his life he really wants to stay friends. we agreed to watch a movie this w/e. I think that maybe being friends will remind us of the good times but is it true that it could bring us closer again.. can we fall back in love we once felt so strong...?

baby girl, yes. but unless you both reconcil about your differences, you both will fall into the same trap the you guys once set. right now you only see the romantic side of the relationship. you also need to the ugly side too. play "what if" game. can you see it? now, hopefully you see where you guys went wrong and what need to be done to make it better the second time around.

Hi, I understand your pain, as I had this experience 3 weeks ago, and I couldn't eat for 4 days. It's a horrible process to go through. However 3 weeks on I m feeling much better, and I can see all the problems now that were in the relationship, without being attached and involved. It has made me realise that I have a lot of better times ahead possibly with someone else.
Initially when you break up with someone you want to get back together again. The feelings are still there. owever if you keep a distance, you will see that faults in the relationship, and start to feel much better in yourself, now that you don't have to deal with these awful arguments and problems. I think you should take some space for yourself and then time will tell. Even 3 weeks will be enough. Personally I don't think you should meet up to watch a dvd, as you could end up getting close and then the same problems you had will develop again.Believe me I have been reunited before after a break up and it only lasted a very short week.
However you may need to learn this for yourself. Your heart is saying meet up this weekend, because you have just split up. However if you have had so many arguments and problems you might be better off with someone different in the long run.9 months is a very short time to have developed so many problems.
You will have to go through this process, and in time you will feel super again. Sorry to hear your pain and I had the same, but now I am much happier as I am not worried about all of the relationship problems.

Hope you understand that time will mend your broken heart and you will meet somebody who will sweep you off your feet and it will be an easier relationship xx

I think it is very possible to fall back in love, but sometimes you need a break to really miss someone. it is like the old saying you can't miss someone if they never go away. That might be what you both need in your relationship, a break from the trouble's and drama so you both can be healed and get healthy again. The one big thing I have learned is that if there is no distance in between the troubles that caused you to break up then it is way too easy to fall back into the same pattern without even realizing it. But if you distance yourself a bit it will give you both a chance to figure out what is important to you. And with luck you will both realize how much you want the other in your life and what you each brought to the other one. And if that happens then it gives you a strong pull back together and a reason to build upon the relationship and fix the things that weren't working.

X's are that way for a reason. Have you heard of the saying, "You can't teach an old dog new tricks." Well, it is true. Either you are willing to except him with all of his flaws or let him go. You should not try to change him. There is too many men in the world to be so caught-up with this one. Move one and enjoy life to the fullest. It is your x-boyfriends lost and another man gain!

ofcourse. It is inside you. You just have to remember how you felt then and how it made you complete. Just tap thatass.. i mean tap into that feeling and rekindle the fire.. only if you want it to burn again.
