I am getting worried about my relationship. My boyfriend was so stressed out about his job situation, he became distant and I took it personally. I thought he stopped caring about me but he did explain to me that he was very busy trying to sort out his job situation as he is very unhappy with his current job. I became needy and he got upset with me in the end. He said that he needs to concentrate and instead he had to worry about me and his job. So he told me to leave him alone these days. I have not contacted him since as I could see he got angry with me for being so needy but I worry now as I have not heard from him for the last 5 days? He told me that he will contact me to wait but I am getting scared?

Have you ever heard of 'stress'? People react in all sorts of ways to it.

For some people, they need to distance themselves from their relationships in order to have a clear mind ~ NOT having it clouded with mixed emotions, not having their angers and irritations directed at what can become easy targets ~ IE: People who do not listen and add pressure by becoming needy of them.

I'm not saying this is the case, I'm not saying you did right / wrong, or that he did right or wrong. He did what he thought was best for him in his circumstances.

Give it / him some time, and just let him know that you'll be there for him when he's ready.

Good luck.
Sash.

It's okay to be scared. You are normal after all and really care for this guy. Men have a tendancy to become silent as they are more introverts than women. It's harder for them when something is bothering them, to speak out about it. Why? Not sure, but most men don't. They just need space and b/c you were needy, it made him upset, wich is understandable. Failure to communicate with one another caused this. Be strong, wait for him to contact you and if you just can't wait, call him but don't be needy. Ask him how his job search is going and if he wants he'll tell you. If you can't communicate feelings together, you might want to rethink your relationship with him all together. Good luck.

why not contact him anyway, asking if hes o k. you could say, you will try not to be too needy. ask if hes sorted his job out and that yoour there for him if he needs you. if it goes on too long, ask him straight if he still wants you to be with him. if not try to move on. you will be o k in the end.

You don't deserve him...there is plenty of guys that you can have...you were just worried..if he can't handle you and his job..he shouldn't be with you!

If you want him back, make him think you are seeing someone else.
