or is this just called life? I came to the realization that I have some deep rooted trust issues with people in general. When someone hurts me, I'm angry but I don't get bitter or plot multiple ways of revenge. Instead I slowly close myself off from the world and shield my heart so that I want feel that pain again.

That being said and maybe I jump to a far ahead of things but what do you do when you have severe financial issues abd health problems but you find out that someone is interested in you? Do you put that aspect of your life on hold until you get yourself "together" or do you continuing with getting to know the person, BTW - Do you really ever truly get yourself together or do you just come to terms with you life and accept the things that you can or can't - is that the definition for getting yourself together - just accepting your life for what it is and not expecting nothing more or nothing less.

I'm seperated from my ex wife and everytime i ph my son my ex sis-in-law sings joyfully "loser loser loser" in the backgound. how damaging can this be for my boy.? he's only 5. no matter wot these people think of me how can they be so insensitive to him?

I'm not exactly the sort of person to worry bout my appearance etc as i do the basics. I brush my hair teeth etc like you should but just because their are all these girls wearing different cloths everyday and always look perfect they put me down. But they forget that these girls liuve with their parents, and their mums do everything for them including washing cloths and buy them stuff they want instead of them buying it with their own money.

Theres a girl at work who has just started her apprenticeship and she has everything done for her by her parents and she tells everybody, but i am always compared against her the thing is our situations are different as i have my own place and was abandoned by my dad and my mum died so i get no help. So once the bills are paid i have no money left, to help with that and I am forever working so im always to tired to get up early in the morning to put makeup on and put my hair up etc. And i dont feel comfortable like that as i dont feel like me.

I have this friend who has moved away...thank god...she calls me endlessly to talk about her, never even asks how I am...seriously, I tell her I am about to eat she says I don't mind, go ahead, I say my husband just got home, she says, that's okay, call me right back..I just have had enough...have given her lots of $ too...that I didn't have...I have sacrifice tons for her with nothing in return, not even a thanks or how are YOU....how do i get out of this with out being mean...?

well what happened was, I was at my uncle berties 60'th birthday bash and i kept feeling my bum being grabbed all the time! firstly when i turned round it was brother running away laughing and screaming, then the 2nd time it was old grandfather herbert! He zoomed off at 20mph in his motorized wheelchair shrieking! anyway, the last straw came when i felt someone was sniffing under my skirt and my horror it was aunty dot and her son willy! when they saw me looking, they started sweating and salivating and they quickly crawled away! Usually this is quite normal , but my question is, why do they only do this at family partys and not all the time. Do you think they are ashamed of me? sent

i belive the main thing that make us realy happy and satisfied is the ability to love ourselves, the self-esteem and feeling good about ourselves is the key element for being able to have a good feeling about the world and all the other people and other things around us. but the question is how can we reach this point? how can we really and truely love and respect oursleves?

I have had court orders sent to a woman (after I moved out)who reminds me of Rosie Odonnell. She considers her actions the way to "resolve the problem - I consider it a waste of time and I want to move on" Badgering, trying to control a conversation, etc. She just started acting like this 8 months ago and I started tuning her out then. She has violated the order 7 times and the police can not arrest her until they catch her in the act. They claim that they do not EVER get claims against women by men. My only option because I do not know where she draws the line is to stop her.

I've wanted a baby for ages now, I'm 24 and been with my b/f for 4ish years. We do want kids, just after we are married. (not engaged at the moment)

However I have such strong broody feelings and he is not helping! He points babies out to me when were out and tiny ickle baby clothes. I'm torn inside by my desire to have a baby now or to wait until he is ready. I know I'm strong enough to wait, but I'd like some suggestions to make it easier! Help?

Ive been with my partner for 7 years now, he has admitted to cheating on me once before but since then i cant help but rethink our past and i do really believe that it was more than once. it does haunt me from time to time and i can say i have difficulty trusting him. i have suggested a lie detector and he refused saying why waste money but i dont know how to go about it so i let it down and suggested realationship couselling and he refuses saying whats the point?! what do you think he's really up to? my reasons for staying is because i am scared of being hurt and i have a child to him and also currently pregnant to our second!!

like the biggest prep in the world but im nice to everyone weither there overweight,skinny,ugly.i hate when my friends make people feel bad of course i stick up for the people that are getting made fun of.well im 15 years old and my friend is 14 years old.this is what happened.
my bestfriend and i were at the mall and these four ''emo kids'' were infront of hollister my bestfriend goes up to them and tells them ''move you freaks,did you play the violin lately? you people should all die your scary and ugly'' when she went in the store i starred talking to them and they were the nicest people in the world. i have tons of ''emo'' friends.then these ''overweight girls'' walked by and she yelled to them ''fat *** your discusting lose some weight you pigs'' and one of the girls cried,i glared at her and she got mad AT ME! what can i do about her?
my boyfriend is 230 pounds and 5'7'' she said i should break up with him because hes ''overweight'' im 5'5'' and 113lbs.i hate how mean she is!

On the day the baby was due, I was on the airplane flying back to the hospital. I had to go to the conference meeting at out of town. The airplane would have gone there a day sooner if it hadn't snowed that day. When she gave birth to the baby, I wasn't there. and now, my wife doesn't forgive me for not being there when she need me the most. I told my wife about the airplane but she is still mad at me. What do i do now? I still love her more than anything. I hope she will forgive me in the future.

I know some people may think it's a bit early but i've been worried I won't get married since i've been 16, I'm now 18. It's just that statistically African-American woman have the lowest marriage rates in the U.S."41.9 percent of black women in America do not get married" If I don't get married I won't be able to have children of my own becasue I don't believe in sex outside of marriage. It scares me immensly, not having a companion in the future. I'm also socially awkward and my standards are very high. I have great dad so I know how a man should treat his wife.
Should I keep worrying or calm down?

I'm also worried because the fact is I'm most likely marrying a black guy, but they have the lowest college graduation rate and the highest incarceration rate. Marrying outside of my race is no problem, but again black women have the lowest chance of being involved in a interracial marriage.

Also, thoughts on an arranged marriage?
