Friends - March 2007

whenever I chat with a girl long enough for a few months, i would try to stop chatting with her in the future. Now I have a nice chatting with a girl whom is the only one in my life i share all my stuff to, recently she tries to ask me about who i like, this kind of feeling is coming up and I'm going to stop it.why?? this doesn't apply to online chatting only, in real life is also the same. Is it the fear of falling into that girl or what???? anyone who has similar experience??

Ok, we both like this guy. I've liked him longer, but when he asked her out she started to REALLY like him. I don't want to loose her so I try and stop thinking about him but it's very hard. She sees him more durring the day.. and they have a lot in common but I don't know how to get my mind off of him. yes, i know it sounds like a classic problem, but i really don't know what to do..

Im in love with a guy who is in love with me too. But our relationship can't be work out coz he's leaving the country and may not return at all. he says it's better to be friends as he thinks that long distance relationship doesn't work. he has been in one before and it didn't work. It has hurt him a lot . he says that he doesn't want our friendship to break because of this nor does he want to lose me. He doesn't want to have a heartbreak either and nor does he want to hurt me.so we decided to remain friends. . but after a few days, i texted him but he stopped replying in other words he started distancing himself just before he left the country and after we talked about that. finally, he started ignoring me. Why is he doing that? what should i do?

Ok, i have only about 3 or 4 friends in my home room class. Every day, whne i go to school, either i end up mad and sad, or i just get picked on at school. My friend, Tabitha,isn't being sch a good friend. She hits me, and plus she tells me to shut up also every 10 minutes!!!! How can i find better friends and how can i make my life better? She's a cutter. She keeps telling me that she wants to stop but she can't. She doesn't do it deep and she does it in places where it's easily covered up. Like, on her legs and her upper arms. She tells me she wants to stop...people see but they don't say anything to her. I'm really worried about her, so are some of her other closer friends. What can I do? She doesn't want to tell her mom.

She was my cousine and her name was Sheyda.She was same age as me and I'm now 15.
We were SOO close and I had told her my secrets. I loved her SOOO much.
but 1.5 years ago Sheyda and her family went to another country.and 3.5 months ago she...died
OMG I don't know what should I do without her.I can't stop crying and thinking baout her.I cry alot I can't belive that...
I couldnt go to her funeral so I couldnt say goodbye I just wanted to kiss her for the last time...

Ok, I broke up with my bf about a month and a half ago.
we are still friends, but not verry close. Now his birthday is comeing up and i was wondering if i should still give him something, like atleast a card. I dont like him anymore, but he still likes me, and i dont want to send the wrong message.

I am a 28 yr-old married woman. i used to have many friends before marriage, 2 yrs ago. but after that I lost my single friends. I haven't been able to make new friends for 2 years now.
I have so many trouble in my marriage, that can't be solved right now, so whenever I have the opportunity of meeitng a potential friend, I tend to open up more than necessary, and either me or them would avoid the next metting, because i feel embarrassed why i opened up, and they feel embarrassed of how much trouble I have that they may not be able to do anything about it. Specially this happens when I meet someone for the first time. Today a very beloved woman is coming to my house, and i am worried to lose her too. Can you suggest what I can say today so that I make friend with this girl and not open up my troubles?

Ok i have a friend ill call "jenn". Jenn is treated like a slave. She was adopted, and her parents are acting like there the ones who are the teenagers. They go out 5-6 days a week, and leave her to take care of her brother and sister until real late, 11-12. She does all the household chores too. Her father verbally abuses her, and her mother doesn't care. I know to anyone reading this it may seem just a common case of parent's and teenagers having differences, but it isn't. It's everyday. Jenn's other friends, who are female, just blow it off and tell her to wait. Other friends don't know to what extent this is occurring, if at all. I want to help her, i talk to her everyday about it and give her comfort, but its time for an actual working action that can at least temporarily relive this, if not make it completely go away. Don't tell me to tell her to go to another adult or teacher, there arnt any that care, and school system's don't work. I seriously need a working effective solution

I'm a prep but alot of people under estimate me i'm in all advanced classes and i'm really smart well obviously but people think b/c i'm preppy i'm an annoying and stuck up person but i'm actualy very down to earth and i'm not going to change for some people to like me b/c i already have like a ton of really good friends.but i just wanted to know if you thought preps were annoying b/c i just want to know why they thyink that??
