Ok, i have only about 3 or 4 friends in my home room class. Every day, whne i go to school, either i end up mad and sad, or i just get picked on at school. My friend, Tabitha,isn't being sch a good friend. She hits me, and plus she tells me to shut up also every 10 minutes!!!! How can i find better friends and how can i make my life better? What do i need to say to her to make her back off? Please give meall you've got, and i need your emails to see who is the best answer! Help, and thanks, hannah

If she hits you and says nasty things to you then she's not your friend at all. That dosn't mean that should stop being her friend. Befriend everyone you know. The cure for your problem is loving kindness. Do good things and good things will happen. Try doing something really nice for someone then tell me how you feel. I bet that you'll feel great. First & foremost you must love yourself and realize that for some reason you are drawing these people to you.
Here's the plan:
Wear something red everyday even if it's a small item. Red is a power color.
Always carry you head high & do not accept any abuse from anyone. Say you can't be talking to me b/c I'm not a person who is spoken to like that, and walk away.
Read Living in Love with Myself, by Barry Elsworth.
Say affermations daily. Look in the mirrow & say powerfully, "I am worthy of the best & I am receiving the best"
I am certain that there are kids that are nicer that you can associate with.
Be determined daily that nothing will make you sad or mad. It's your attitude & no one can control that. Smile all day in spite of what happens. If they can't get to you, they'll stop.
Just b/c your friends show no respect, it doesn't mean you can't show yourself respect.

If you don't talk so much, she can't tell you to shutup, so I'm assuming you talk alot. Either way, no excuse to hit you. Drop her.
When you stop worrying about getting friends, you will get friends. Nobody likes desperate people. You might be bi-polar or depressed. Everyday you're mad or sad? When you can't change the world around you and get stressed because of it, change yourself. Get a makeover, find a new hobby, whatever. I think that'd help you. If not, see a doctor.

There is a girl in my school that just came to my school because of the same reason. She had to switch schools because of that. She found great new friends, she looks nice and she is friendly. You can talk to your super intendent about switching schools but explain why and then if he lets you transfer just start over and have a good time.

Any friend who hits you isn't a friend and says "Shut up" isn't a friend. I used to have a group of four friends who hated me but let me tag along because "it made the group seem bigger". They really messed me up and my confidence is sooo low right now so just start talking to other people and don't stay with friends you don't like.

awwwwwwwwwwwwwww well to help Ur life you need to stand up for yourself and don't be afraid she is int going to be Ur friend anymore just you'll find more i promise and if she hits u go tell someone trust me if Ur a teenager and you tell on someone Ur not being a tattletale she can go to juvie for hitting you like that

Someone who hits you isn't a very good friend at all. To make new friends just be yourself and GO up to someone and ask if you can sit with them. If they say yes you say thanks. Then introduce yourself to them.
