Friendship all the way!!! Love, no matter how much you feel for oneanother, nearly always ends in heart ache. I don't think that a friend should ever put another friend in the position where they have to choose to go out with someone (which will almost certainly end in an uncomfortable frindship/no friendship at all) or to reject them and almost certainly loose all friendship ties with them. I've been in the position- just don't go there!

it depends on how old you are. If your still in High school then i would choose friendship, because friendship is the strongest bond., and you wouldnt want to lose that. But if your older and you think you are ready for a loving relationship then try it. you just need to think of your feelings and the other persons feelings. You just need to think about all of your options that you might ruin or you might make stonger. I hope i have helped and good luck

if it was a lover n a friend that dint get on n neither of them wanted u to be friends/partners with the other, i wouldnt choose either of them, i would walk away n move on, no one is worth telling someone that u cant b with/friends with another person. but if it is a friend that u feel u love n want be with them but are scared of risking the friendship u have, i would choose to go for it. life is too short for regrets!! hope all goes well! xx

There's no reason why the two can't go together. Love exist in friendship too, & lovers often started being friends at first.

If it is proper love then i believe the friendship bit is in with it. My hubby and i love each other very much. We have been together for 13 years this year, we still mess around and act like friends too, infact our son often says we embarrass him because we mess around, like mates do, sometimes. So if your lucky in your love you should get the friendship along with it. xxxxxxxxxxx

Each friendship is different and each love is different. It will have to depend on the friendship and on the love.

If you have to ask and it bothers you then the answer is friendship. Life goes on and if you are in love you wouldn't be asking this question.

When I split up with my boyfriend (though we were back together a week later!!!) we decided to be friends, We didn't want to lose our friendship. I would have missed him like crazy. Still do as unfortunately, it's long distance. xxx
