I agree, love is blind because those in love wear blinkers to close out anything they don't want to see. Friendship sees all and chooses to love despite. A perfect relationship would be based on a deep abiding friendship that grows to a love. That way the people involved see clearly but forgive and choose to love anyway. Don't get lack of reaction mixed up with not seeing. There is a big difference. Head in the sand is not the road to a lasting relationship.

When you are involve in a relationship and especially and if there is sexual contact . That's when love is blind , you can't see the wrong no matter what . You are involved emotionally and physically . Friendship will see all the things that are wrong because they are not involve . There is as well another saying " hindsight is always 20/20 ". I agree with your statement

Love is not blind, but it can turn a blind eye. Infatuation cannot see; love can but can overlook. Never heard the other bit before and not quite sure what it means.

to me i think that means that when someone is doing u wrong you dont pay attention to it because u love them and u think that they are going to change. i don't really believe in it but i do know it happens to alot of people.
