You and I get to know many people as we go through life. Some of the people we know can be considered as friends. However, there are those who say that friendships that start after college years are never as strong as earlier ones. Do you think this is true? What is your personal experience?

I need somebody advice here, Iam a 43 year old woman, A popular person, and a all around girl, I have been around the block alot, Ok, So When the converstations with my friends come up with careers and jobs, they my friends and family all seem to have alll different kinds of carreers I should have, I hate all of them, I want only 1 job and the 1 job that i really want to do is never avaiable, or i dont have the experiance to be doing this sort of job, I personally want to be A under cover detective For the juveniles who are in trouble with the law, The cops laugh at me, They tell me i cant do this, My mother god rest her soul thinks i should of become a nurse, My friends want me to be a waitress or bar maid, My other friends, want me go to school, the list goes on and on, I am sick and tired of this, Iam old enough to live my life, and dont you think its about time, that i have my own ideas

ok.. i have this guy friend named Diego who i like but we have already gone out before and now we just started talking again on Wed. and now we r friends and he told me that he still likes me still just a few days ago but idk if i should tell him tat i like him too cuz i dnt think i can trust him anymore. (He broke up with me cuz he said that there was this other girl tat he likes but he never went out with her) I mean i wanna get back together but i wanna test him out first. Ok, I would like to know if anyone has ever had a friend that had been too much? Like you hang out all the time and when you needed space from them they got all up set and you felt like you had to break up with a S'/O or something. If you did, how did you go about it, what happened and any advice?

I pray every night for an angel to come and make everything better for my mom, but nothing seems to be working. Could it be something i did?? i try to be good. i help out other people and try to be REALLY good. then why is it that no one seems to be listening to my prayers when i need them?? One of my best friends for twenty years turned out to be not such a great friend after she got married and had a child. She now completely ignores anyone who has entered her life prior to this new hubby...even her family! It's so sad to watch! Anyone have a similar story they care to share?

Hi,
I work full time whist all of my friends that i had at school are still at college/uni. The problem is they are really childish and as i work with older, more mature people i have grown up fast and am a lot more mature and sensible about things than they are. I really find it difficult when we go out anywhere as they seem to act like little children which is really annoying.
There is also another thing, my friends aren't girly girls either, they prefer trainers, and casual clothes so when ever we go to a pub they stand out like a sore thumb which really gets me down as i'd like to be able to go out, have a good time like everyone else my age. :(

I dont know what to do, i cant say anything to them about it as i dont want them thinking i dont want to be their friends or to hurt their feelings as i do like them but i do think its time they grew up and started to act their age.

Dont know if anyone has the same problems?

Any help appreciated.

I'm going to a school trip to France and I said to two of my friends that I would share a room with them in the hotel. Only now I don't like them much anymore, and I'm convinced they're going to share secrets and gang up on me because they're really close.
So I want to share a room with two other girls in my form who are really nice but I don't know how to tell my other friends without hurting their feelings. If I do still remain roommates with them its gonna make my trip really miserable. How can I tell them I just don't want to be their roomates?

I have a friend that is only 14 years old and she's getting drunk at parties. Shes my best friend but she moved to a different state last year and is the same girl except that shes getting into parties and stuff. I just talked to her and she was so hungover. I try to tell her its like bad and shes just like "I can control myself. I only had a few shots last night. I can control myself. Gosh you sound like my mom..."
