I pray every night for an angel to come and make everything better for my mom, but nothing seems to be working. Could it be something i did?? i try to be good. i help out other people and try to be REALLY good. then why is it that no one seems to be listening to my prayers when i need them?? I really need an angel right now.

HAVE FAITH!!! I haven't been the most religious person all my life, in fact, there was a point when I didn't even pray. I lost all faith and hope and then something amazing happened. My bf was an alcoholic and we had just recently broken up and one day when I thought I had nothing left, I prayed. I prayed to God that someday he would be happy and stop drinking. A week later he got into an accident splitting his liver in half with no other wounds or bruises, in which he HAD to quit drinking. DON'T LOOSE HOPE, and be there for your mother. I don't know what the conditions are, but tell her you love her everyday, and never stop praying. MY PRAYERS ARE WITH YOU AND YOUR MOTHER.

Too often we expect an answer to a prayer to be the answer we want. Your prayer may be heard but there is a different outcome than what you expect. Your being good does not have anything to do with the outcome. Do not blame yourself for what happens. The angel you need is one to protect you from taking blame for what is not your fault and to make you see that maybe your mother has had something to learn and this is the way it is happening. Prayers are always answered just not sometimes the answer we want.

well sometimes things just dont work out. sometimes things are meant to happen. If nothing is working then maybe it is meant to be. i know how u feel. people pray all the time but sometimes for meaningless things. you want something that is important to you.
i hope your mom gets better soon.

Sometimes when you pray the answer is "no" or "not yet." keep on praying, because it doesn't hurt. God hears all prayers.

but if you're speaking.. about the dilution of the organized religion...
well after you ask for prettier blond hair and bigger boobs.. ask your.. deity why he lets 10,000 of babies die or starvation...( but they don;t pray right!!!!!!!!)
