It all depends on how responsible and reliable your daughter is, and only you know this.
If you think that she would be ok doing the journey on her own, I cant see there being a problem with it - as long as the coach is a direct one, and there is no need of changing at a different coach station.
Im sure you would see her off your end, and her Nan can meet her off the bus, then she will be safe enough, as long as she doesnt go wondering off!

This is a really hard question, is she a mature 14 year old " You have to have a good chat with her about it, what does she want to do there, are they all girls or mixed, she has to be trusted sometime, but make her promise to phone several times a day, hope all goes well for you, it is hard to let go and girls grow up sooner than guys do.

It all depends on if she is mature enough. Does she do chores without being asked to. Like cleaning her room or taking out the trash etc. Some teenagers are mature enough to go on a 5 and a half hour trip. It might matter on the area on whihc shes going to or passing through. If I were you I wouldn't let her go but thats my opinion.

I would say no way! But this is your daughter you have to make that decision to let a 14 yr old girl go alone, not knowing if she will be safe these days and times all these missing kids, to let her go visit some friends. Tough decision.

Coach trip? If you are talking about a bus, then I'd almost say no. If you are talking a plane trip, then yes. My kids (12 and 15 now) have been going by plane.......alone........for the past 3 years. For a bus, I'd send a chaperone or go with them.

Sure, sounds fine.. 14 is not a baby any more, and this sounds like a simple way to let her learn a little independance and self-reliance.

Of course, She'll be fine. Did you bring up a sensible intellegent young lady or an irresponsible child? She'll be absolutely fine.
