tell her that she is hurting you by drinking. tell her that what she is doing isnt fair to you and that if she really was your friend she would listen to what you have to say.
if that doesnt make her want to stop, she's not a very good friend

Okay, this is not my problem...so i will not give a definite answer. This is your personal problem, you have to solve it yourself. but i will give advice.
First of all..
What is a friend?
++Answer, someone you care about isn't it?
Well... if she is getting mad at you for caring for her....well, that just shows that you're not really her "best" friend..
She might be your best friend... but if she is getting mad just because you're helping her.... Then that just shows that her point of view is different.
As a friend, it is important to protect each other, but yet, don't allow to much protecting shields.
Try talking little by little but not so small at a time that it takes a year to get to the final point.
Maybe try talking her into coming over for some times... if she's not so far away...
Remember these quotes:
++ A True Friend is one who walks in when others walk out.
If you want to be her true friend, you're already walking in, but you're scared that she won't like it.
So, you pick, do you want her to solve her problem by herself, while you support her.
Or do you want to just walk in and solve it yourself.

Your friend is an alchoholic. She will not be able to be helped until she sees it. Most alchoholics are in a state of denile. "I can handle it." Or "I only have a few drinks to make me feel better." THey are also very manipulating. It is a learned behaviour and can be helped seek help at al anon

well it sounds like you've told her everything you could and now it's just up to her to listen. i had a friend exactly like that and i told her a million stories about people screwing their lives up because they started drinking too young, but she didn't want to listen. she had to screw up for herself to understand. it's hard but sometimes you have to let people find things out for themselves. they don't understand how real the consequences are until they're forced to deal with them.

do her parents know? I know it sucks to go behind her back, but inform her parents, and hopefully they can help control where she goes at night, and watches who she's with.
