I've been really good friends with a girl for a couple of years now,
But there's been a rumour going round that she once snogged a girl,
There was also a rumour that she fancied me and one of my other friends,
Also she's not intresed in talking about who she fancys or boys ... AT ALL!!!
And when we have sleepovers she keeps butting in on us as we get changed,
WHEN SHE KNOWS WE'RE IN THERE!!!
I've got nothing against lezz's or bi's but this is scarying me!!!

I'll be honest, I'm a compulsive liar who lies to impress and fit in. Sometimes I lie for no reason (that bad).

I want to break this awful habit and become a completely honest person. I've found that lying only complicates life and inhibits me from getting close to anyone. However, to do this I feel I have to confess every lie I've told.

I've lied to my closest mates at Uni (of 2+ years) about my family life, my history, and what I do at home. They are curious and I want to tell them the truth, but I've a feeling that it would not end well as one of them is quite short-tempered and judgmental about people (this one happens to be my closest friend in college).

I was contemplating on opening up to them after we graduate because I can't really afford to make any enemies in college if it goes pear-shaped (I need to be focused on getting my degree), but the guilt and shame of being a liar is eating me up.

I would really appreciate some advice and some opinions. Cheers

Well I told one of my aquaintances that her and her friend(who's gay and a guy) make a cute couple like friends, she's like Oh my God that is so wrong!(She didn't act ticked off or anything)

Only serious answers please. Most my life men have been interested in me. I've had guy friends when I was younger and have a couple now... when I say "friends" I mean men I've never dated. There is a guy in my life that use to like me that no longer does... I like him but don't want to express this to him... I have in the past and he said he didn't share the same feelings. He wants to be friends with me, I want to be friends with him... but it's difficult... knowing he use to like me makes me feel like a loser somehow because he no longer does. And besides I really don't know what to talk to him about? Can you help!

I have a friend that I've known all my life..we are both in our 50's and widowed. We've been good friends since her husband died 8 yrs ago. I can never get her to come out and commit to me. For instance..I'll call her early in the week and ask her if she'd like to do dinner on Sat and she'll always say..I'll keep it in mind or She'll say its too far off to plan anything..its driving me nuts and it makes me mad and it's hurtful..whats your take on this? we're both female

He thinks I am trying to keep him from his friends. Atleast thats what his brother told him , who happens to be in jail for drinking.when he is at his friends thats when he realy gets messed up.He is on probation with this driving thing and if he gets busted he goes to jail,looses his licience and job.

I'm sure it would depend on the friend, but I don't know if a lot of men would be comfortable if a female friend said that she loved him. I mean love in the sense that you enjoy spending time with that person. I wonder if men can think of love in non-sexual terms unless the woman happens to be his mother or his sister or another close female relative.

if a male friend of yours ( not boyfriend at all) came to you and said we need to have a talk, i you say, about what, and he says about you shedding some pounds....... and goes well i just want when we go out that you and your sister (my twin) look like "dimes", the conversation pretty much said we were too big for his status and all this kind of stuff, i mean me and my twin sister are throwers ( track and field) so im involved and both are division one prospects, so im definitly active and healthy, but im BLACK, have a butt, thighs, the only thing i want to change ( like most women ) is my stomach, am i over reacting or is my friend really being a you know what?

Ok here's the story.

I was planning on going to see a friends band play tonight and then head to an after party.

The first 3 people I asked had plans.
Then I asked someone else and they said they would go with me.
Now they have other arrangements that they forgot about so I asked another friend who also said no.

Is this some kind of bad omen that no-matter what I do to try and find someone to come with me to this party and gig I allways get nowhere?

What do you think? Do you think I should just go on my own, or sit at home and be boring all night?

I have this friend who at one time was a great best friend. but in the last few years he has been become confusing and quite crappy, he makes plans and flakes, then he turns around and ask me why didn't I show up, he emails me saying hey give me your number I am going to call you and then doesn't..then if I don't call him for a while he acts mad..I think he is playing some kind of wierd mind game.. we at one time or another flirted with the idea of dating but never happened..two weeks ago he sent me a message asking for my number.. then he never called.. I have given the guy my number several times.. he says he loses it over and over, seems wierd since we have known each other 13 years.. and I have had this number for over 2 years. then when I ask him about it he makes up wierd excuses.especially when he is supposed to hang out with me.he's like I know I was supposed to call you to tell you the date and time. but I ran out of min. cause I talk on the phone to much to other people huh?

that he smells bad? A really old friend of mine is divorced and is desperate to make a new relationship. He is a very friendly, kind person but he smells absolutely awful. When he has been in our house we have to open the door after he's gone to let the smell out. The chair he has been sitting on smells for days and if we put anything on that chair, that thing smells too, that's how bad he smells. I've tried a few times by saying things like "you could meet a new woman any time at all so make sure that every day you shower, put on clean clothes and look well groomed" but he still smells just as bad. It's a huge shame because he's such a nice guy but is depressed as he is so lonely. If he didn't have this problem things could be so much better for him!
