my best friend broke up with here bf and is now telling me i should go out with him but i alredy have one is wat she doing a desperate cry for help and should i give her bf a chance

Here is the new issue of my problem...we'll call my best guy friend-john and my best girl friend-sammy.....well sammy and john went out for awhile and he really really liked her but she was always afraid of a serious relationship...well this went on until she broke up with him and broke his heart...well its been like 3 months and sammy and john are best friends(but not in a "relationship")...well im also sammy and johns best friend and now im confused...well john isn't over sammy(even tho sammy is over him) and i now really like john...well last nite at the movies(w/ sammy and john) us 3 mainly tlked and didnt watch the movie and 2day when i txted john he said they tlked and tht they both want a second chance...well here i am stuck in the middle of this "problem" and i still really like john...i told him last month that i liked him and then we got over that and he now thinks i dont like him(other than as a friend) pls b4 u answer wait 4 detals which will come in like 30 seconds

We just moved into a new apartment and finally finsihed with the house, and I'd like to walk outside and just go up to someone and make friends with them.
All of my friends I've known for all my life...So I don't realy know how to make friends anymore...
Could you tell me how a Mother or a Parent would say? I'm to embarrassed to ask it in RL...

I'm 18 years old, and I've never really had a real good friend or even a circle group of friends to hang out with. I'm pretty "popular" at school but I've never been able to identify myself with others and have always been a loner. For some reason, I've never met anyone who has the same interests as I do, want to do the things I want to or who I can easily talk to and be comfortable with. And it's not even because I'm in to weird stuff, because I'm not. Sometimes I just wanna go to the beach to hang out or go on a quick roadtrip to nearby cities. I don't even have anybody to go to the movies or mall with because I wouldn't be completely comfortable with them. I am a very laid back, chilled guy with a good sense of humor. Does anyone have any advice or comments. Please don't leave any smart-*** or rude comments.

I'm a very quite and shy person and its hard for me to talk to and meet people. I won't go out to parties/club a lone. By me being so shy and quite when people assume that i'm mean or stuck up but i just can't open up to so freely i've had this problem all my life.

She's so negative all the time. She has sleep apnea, so part of the problem could be that she doesn't get enough sleep. She said something to me that was pretty hurtful, and she's done it before but it's never been this bad. She also thinks her opinion is the only thing that matters. What can I do? I think it might be time for me to find friends that don't bring me down.

okay, my best friend has an eating disorder. it is NOT anorexia or bulimia. it is caused from stress. her (crazy) mom is trying to get custody of her, but she is not an okay guardian SHE IS THE ONE WHO CAUSES ALL THE STRESS. she lives with her dad, but like her dad always gives her everything she wants. she went to a place for eating disorders, but she can;t anymore because of insurance.
she isn't at school a lot because of health reason, and i nevr get 2 see her anymore. she is my best friend and i just want her to recover and get back to a healthy weight. pleez help me!!!

Okay my friend thinks she has "fallen in love". We are only 13 and I know that she is not really in love. I have tried to tell her that there are going to many more guys in our life but she is convinced that she "loves him". And to make matters worse he doesn't like her. How do I get her to realize what love really means and such?

Yea... when we're at lunch, she always sees like she'd rather be somewhere else... or isn't very interested in our conversation. I don't want to have her dying of boredom, but she constantly looks around...as if she's looking for something or waiting for someone.... it sort of hurts my feelings, but i don't know what to say or do. This year, I haven't actually socialize with my friends like I used to. Anyways, they think I'm ignoring them or whatever. But the fact is that I'm actually trying to pass all my classes. Last year, I had easy classes but this year, it's so difficult.

So, now, I was online and my friend thinks I was ignoring her when I told I was busy and I couldn't talk to her. So, right now, I message her because I wanted to talk just so she knows I wasn't ignoring her even though I have to study for my exam on monday.

Now, she ignoring me and I told her bye and sign off.

W're both girls. I have always had a bit of a crush on her, but never really thought about it too much because I knew nothing would come of it. But lately I have been getting the impression that she is interested, somehow. How can I be sure without making the relationship awkward?
