I like(but don't want to)like my best guy friend?

Here is the new issue of my problem...we'll call my best guy friend-john and my best girl friend-sammy.....well sammy and john went out for awhile and he really really liked her but she was always afraid of a serious relationship...well this went on until she broke up with him and broke his heart...well its been like 3 months and sammy and john are best friends(but not in a "relationship")...well im also sammy and johns best friend and now im confused...well john isn't over sammy(even tho sammy is over him) and i now really like john...well last nite at the movies(w/ sammy and john) us 3 mainly tlked and didnt watch the movie and 2day when i txted john he said they tlked and tht they both want a second chance...well here i am stuck in the middle of this "problem" and i still really like john...i told him last month that i liked him and then we got over that and he now thinks i dont like him(other than as a friend) pls b4 u answer wait 4 detals which will come in like 30 seconds

well he says he doesn't want to like her(if they dont get back 2gether) and i dont want to like him since he is my best friend...well the thing is im not sure wat to do since i cant get over my feelings(o and sammy knew i liked him but thinks i dont anymore) and i really want him to like me but IM SO CONFUSED!!!plz help me i need guidence on wat to do..PLZ!!!

Lock Sammy in your basement. You cant kill a friend because you
might wanna chat later. But you cant let her get in your way either.

Tell John she was abducted by aliens, and comfort him during his loss.
With no one else'e shoulder to cry on, he will become yours.

ok. Im in kinda the same situatin. Have you noticed that most people, who break up, stop being friends? Well then, if you really care for this guy then you should wait. Why risk loosing him? Its ok to like him, just try to keep it at that until both of you(and sammy) are ready.
