Yea... when we're at lunch, she always sees like she'd rather be somewhere else... or isn't very interested in our conversation. I don't want to have her dying of boredom, but she constantly looks around...as if she's looking for something or waiting for someone.... it sort of hurts my feelings, but i don't know what to say or do. HELP ME PLEASE!!

How long have you two known each other? It kind of sounds like something is bothering your friend, but it likely is not you, unless you've noticed other things. It could also be that she feels a little uncomfortable. I've known some people that sometimes feel awkward, especially in public places. Try your best to make her feel comfortable. It couldn't hurt anyway. Encourage her to talk, but be careful not to patronize her. Try to think of something that you know is important to her, and when she does talk make sure you give lots of positive comments. Make her feel at home, so that she feels she can tell you even her most embarrassing moments without a change in your view of her. You could even tell a few of your own.

This is just a guess. Relationships and people are sometimes enormously complicated. I could be way of the mark, but it's hard to judge someone else's relationships from a paragraph. I wish you luck! : )

Ask her whats wrong and that she always seems distracted. Its possible she has problems at home or that she is outgrowing you. You wont know til you ask.
