When i was younger i had a neighbor who was like my best friend. I only know his first name. Does anyone know how i could possibly find him?

yes, maybe find out who lives in the house he lived in, write that address and asked how long they lived there, then explain to them your looking for a lost friend go as far back as you can especially if all you know is a first name ...what about year books he must have gone to school with you if he was a neighbor friend, look in old year book

If you know the approximate year and you could always try going back and checking the electral rolls for that address...
That may give you parents last name which would make your seach easier.
