If you're a woman, how would you feel if you're first kiss looked you up 30 years later to see how you're doing? Could you're husband handle it?

I don't think a husband would be that threatened by an ex from such a long-time ago especially since you were so young.
But what are your motives for calling? If they are more than to just see how she is doing then yes that would become evident fairly easily and a husband would have every right to be angry.
If you just wanna say hi and think of her as a friend then there is totally nothing wrong with it. I would say go for it. Have a coffee and catch up. I have lots of great platonic friendships with men.

Um, yeah. If my husband was threatened by a 30 year old childhood romance, then something is definitely wrong in our marriage. I think it'd be great to get in contact with "some" old flames. Just depends on how much we liked each other and what intentions he might have.

From a guy's perspective, I wouldn't care if my wife followed up with an olde love from middle school. I did! It was really interesting to catch up once again with her . . .
