My friend is starting to get on my nerves...when she's perfectly fine, she calls her mom every five minutes to pick her up from school, and when she's sick, she refuses to go home. I thought she might be depressed, but I was wrong about that. Am I being a bad friend?

No, you aren't being a bad friend, she is. She is a selfish user of other people, and you would be wise to break off from her. She is not going to change, so you must start removing yourself by finding other people and other interests. Believe me, she will soon find somebody else to whine to, and take care of her. Best wishes

seems like your friend has some psychological issues if you get my drift. you aren't being a bad friend you are just stating the truth. that's what friends do.
