W're both girls. I have always had a bit of a crush on her, but never really thought about it too much because I knew nothing would come of it. But lately I have been getting the impression that she is interested, somehow. How can I be sure without making the relationship awkward?
Anyone ever experienced this?

P.s. Abuse will have no effect on me, just some relevant and useful comments please.

just act normal around here & hint around that u like her. if she feels the same everything will fall into place. just remember, everything happens for a reason.

i hope everything works out.

GOOD LUCK!

Well I have never experienced this, but 1st off, does she know you are into girls? If she does then if you feel that she's feeling you, ask her. If you guys are good friends, then you should feel comfortable enough to ask her. Worst thing that can happen is she says no, she won't be shocked, because she knows your into girls. Kind of make it a joke, start off by saying something like "I have always had a crush on you", OR "If you were into girls, would you find me attractive." usually something like that kind of lets someone know you are interested. And you will know by her answer. If you feel completely comfortable with her, then like I said straight ask her. It won't hurt. Good luck, best of wishes!

i have, but i didn't have a crush on her. i just felt the need to protect her all the time. But eventually, i came to understand that feeling as sibling affection. i don't have a sibling you see.

well, might i suggest asking her if she would ever date a girl.

or playing a game, where you mention a something and your friend has to say the first word that comes to mind. i don't know the name of it.

or praying about it. i am not trying to impose religion on you, please understand that. But no matter what you believe in, it never hurt to pray.

Yes I've had a similar experience with my old best friend in high school. She made the first move on me and I was curios so I went along with it and I liked it a lot PHYSICALLY NOT EMOTIONALLY she got all weirdo on me and started to have feelings for me like I felt for my boyfriend. Messing around with her was cool until she told me she was in love with me. That just totally grossed me out and ruined our friendship.
