Friends - November 2006

For the past 3 years, I've been feeling lonely and sad all the time. My parents said when I was little, I use to be the positive one in the family. Now I'm either just really depressed or mad at someone. Please help me. I know I don't need a therapist but I once wanted to not live anymore..Once, but I still feel sad..What's wrong with me?!

my friend and i like the same guy and we know that we both like him but we said that we wouldnt be mad at eachother if he asks one of us out but she knows that ill be upset and i no that shell be upset but we wont tell eachother what should i do? help?!

Every friendship + reationaship i have ended up being manipulaqted by men either physically or emotionally. Even friendships have been messed up by sex. Ok it takes 2, but i dont like seeeing a mate who i have a real good laugh with turn into a well.....a sheep....loved up...wet........CHANGED!!!!! LOL....well im half laughing but serious at the same time ADVICE PLEASE!!!!!!!!

I've always felt like I couldn't get close to people (like my friends) and I tend to keep much to myself because I don't really trust anyone. It's been affecting me, because recently I get very depressed when I realize that I don't have anyone to talk to (like a best friend or a boyfriend). I know I'm not actually depressed, but what could possibly be wrong and how could I fix it?

I met a guy and we quickly became best friends, he was always there for me and i was there for him. He was my boyfriend's best friend and shortly after we split up, he told me he had feelings for me. I ignored it and stayed friends with him and got back together with my boyfriend. He was a charmer, and always flirty and suggestive but he tried to get my friend to leave her bf and cheated with her. She said no but then he moved in on my other friend and the same thing happened. I told him to end it, and he promised me he would and that he would change.But he continued to cheat and then she caught him with another girl and then he told her bf the truth, and he was torn(he is also my friend). Then when my friend had a go at him, he threatened to hit her, but said to me that he was going to change and become a better person now, and start treating girls with respect. I dont want to know but hes begging for forgiveness?

okay so.. i have a few best friends. but eventually i think we will drift apart. i am shy when meeting new people.. how can i over come this? every time im in a little circle talking to people.. im the one who just stands there and listens. i dont know what to say. when im around some people i know what to say.. but around others its just akward. how can i just get over this little akward feeling and talk to anyone and everyone? i want to be friends w/ a lot of people. please help. i need new friends. thanks

My table seats 4 roomy, so I can fit 5-6 and I am barrowing my inlwas banquent table which can seat 5-6. Should I make one long table or one round table from both? Also should I place name cards on the plates to avoid picky seaters and waistful time?

I have a friend who I met from work who I have hung out with a few times etc. We text and talk, but I now work 2 jobs. I wake up super early and don't have much time to go out. I told her I couldn't go to a party because of work the next day, but she said she would be mad if I didn't go, so I forced myself to go. I made it to work late this morning and I don't think i it was worth it. I'm mad that I went back on what I wanted to do and just gave into her demands. I feel that a friend would understand and not make me do anything. I have a bad feeling about his relationship. What do you think? I'd like feedback please! Thanks!

She left without paying her half-ends of the remaining 3 months. I personally think that you should at least pay something, especailly when she considers herself a "friend". One girl said that she took her ex-roomate to civil court just to get half of the light bill and 1/2 one month's rent. What do you think?

OK so last night i was at the mall with my sister, her boyfriend, and two of my friends. Well one of my friends pointed out this girl with huge holes all in her pants...including on huge one on her butt cheak and half of her a** was exposed...well later on when we were heading out to the movies that are just outside of the mall and i saw her with two of her friends...when i saw her i said look at her pants! (louder than i ment to) and she said whos talking about me!?! And none of us said anything so she said "stop talking about me B****!!! Well then my sisters boyfriend got mad so he said Well you should stop looking like a s***! Then we went outside and everyone went back in exept me and cody (my sisters BF) and a couple secounds l8r she came storming out the doors yelling at me! She said "What are you to small to say something to my face!?! And i said i wasnt talking about you! (i wasnt talking bad about her anyway) and she said then why did all of them start looking at me?

okay so.. i am a 15 year old girl. i have 2 best friends, and when they go to parties they drink. i havent been to a party w/ alcohol yet, and they said they want to get me drunk. i really dont want to. i could just start talking to them less, and make more friends.. but aths the hard part. alot of teens drink because they think its cool, and they want to fit in. my friends dont have problems with alcohol, they just think its fun to drink. i told them, no, i dont want to get drunk,whats fun about puking and falling everywhere and not even remembering anything? there not alcoholics or anything tho. i kinda have trouble making new friends cause im kinda shy. i mean with certain people i talk to them and we just click and were friends but with most peole its like... umm.. akward. should i just try to make new friends? or just never go to parties. please help. OH and also, what are some ways to be at ease with people and make new friends easliy? thanks!

Ok, so I just found out that this fuy my best friends has been crushing on is about to ask her out soon. Im happy for her but Im not sure if Im pretending or not.
